Maybe our party needs to impersonate Orlesian nobles or are invited to court and have to dress appropriately. In DAO my favourite quests were rescuing Anora and escaping Fort Drakon. Both involved dressing up as guards but I'd love to see more of that with different outfits. I also liked how Hawke had a robe on at home. Seeing your party always in same battle gear gets boring after a while and I'd like some quests with disguises to spice it up a bit.

Actually, every male, regardless of class. Let the women wear pants and armor if they want, though.![]()
While I personally would not play that game, (edit: unless the reviewers all swore the plot was awesome) I am curious as to what an armored knight's frilly ballgown would look like...
A lot like templars, but with more lace and ruffles on the skirt, filigree on the metal! Admit it, it would look awesome.
Okay. Taken in moderation, that would look pretty cool.

I like what the masseffect team, had done in 3, shepard just wore his uniform no need of weapons.KallianaTabris wrote...
More civilian clothing option. If the Inquisitor is going to hang around for a few days in an estate, inn or castle, does she really need to walk around in chafing armor or with heavy weapons clinging to her back?
I hope we have the option to just pick what we want.

sw33trene ~I would like this for a mage, it almost looks like the white mord sith armor.

I think it is, but I like the top in these pics than the ones they have on the mord sith

How is the last guy with the green hood over his face supposed to see where he is going? Or maybe his sense's are so keen, he does not need to see what he is chopping up?
He's just looking down to make the picture look "cool".
@DinoSteve I like the First & Second pictures a lot. Hell no to the third

1. We got to play with colors
2. We got capes with the inquisition symbol on them
3 (optional). We got to play with our companion armor's colors.

Bioware was great about this in DA2, so I have high hopes they'll keep it up for DA3.
I agree with the idea of casual clothes for 'off duty' times and would like to see a selection - and for male and female selections to be roughly equal. None of this "Sheploo gets a cool leather jacket and jeans while femShep gets an hideous pleather dress" stuff. Seriously, who thought that was a good idea? I'd also like to not have my female PC always forced into a skirt like Hawke was in her mansion - and for actual attention to be paid to female clothing. While I liked that f!Hawke's outfit in MotA was the same as m!Hawke's, I don't like that the reason for this is because they didn't bother to think about what f!Hawke would wear, ran out of time, and very poorly fitted the male clothing to her model. Sloppy work, and it showed.

On a more serious note, I want no armour for female rogues or warriors that has ~attractive~ gaps that are just perfect for stabbing them in the vitals, and no high heels. I'd like to think they have more sense than to mistake the battlefield for a fashion show catwalk.

I agree.
But...I do miss my Dalish dragonskin bikini. Not gonna lie.

I don't see sexy armor being a problem... after all we are playing highly skilled warriors or mages that can take hits from a charging bronto without getting seriously injured...
Perhaps so, but I don't want my warrior walking around in a chainmail bikini. It makes me uncomfortable, and my inner warrior would be ranting over how senseless it would be.
I don't mind if armor is a little more feminine, like this:

and this:

as well as this:

I really like the rogue armor in DA2:

The clothing is tight against the body - enough to show curves but it also keeps out of the way in any rogue's battle style.

What would be nice, is if we were given a couple of 'basic' armours per type, and we could add what we like to them. Like lace or cords for robes. Bone, scales or shells for rogues and warriors and have different dyes to change up the colours. personalise them a bit.
