Fashionable hairstyles for men.  Especially if we're going to Orlais.  There have got to be some men who spend far too much time on their hair.

Especially with tails at the back like both of my guys have here.

Everything should be designed by Jeremy Scott!

*snip*

I love 2NE1, but what on Earth is that?

Seriously though, I want more practical looking mage armor, I almost never wear Circle robes.

Is that girl on the right wearing teddy bear-pants?

I have never wanted anything so badly in my whole life.

Never stop with the stupid hats.  I will cry if I don't have stupid hats to do this with in DA3:

Those are some dapper-looking gentlemen right there. Who's the one in the rogue outfit?

I modded Nathaniel Howe into my game

For the Orlais part, at the least, lots of ruffles and lace and all sorts of colour.

Just not the hideous blinding colors they had in Origins.  And what was up with all the women's dresses looking like they were made out of linoleum?

all I meant is that as someone who has blonde hair it would be nice to see blonde hair that isn't at the extremes, one is so blonde its silver and the other is so blonde its gold.

Also you do realise the Targaryen's are like the inbred hicks of Westeros, but I suppose the Lannisters are also after the crown.

I generally favour rather simple and practical looking stuff for my PC.

If that can contrast with Orlesian NPCs over the top ostentation, then all the better.

I think they were trying to make the fabric look like satin. But you are right, it looked like vinyl. :P
I have realized I use a lot of armor mods. I have tried almost every one out there at least once for DAO.

Yes it would be easy to simply add the tints from the get-go instead of having to add them with mods later. But.....Who doesn't want to look like a Targaryen????????

A variety of long hair would be nice. Also, it would really make me happy if we could modify the main preset; sometimes I want to just keep the face or the hair and change the other parts you know?

Concerning the armors:
>The hats/helmets are ridiculous
> Mage attire doesn't limit to robes or they look better/cooler; has pants (actually my mage has one! But I wish there were more)
>Rogues have masks or hoods!!

I'm hoping for a helmet toggle.

That quickly solves the problem of stupid hats :P

Ah yes, it seems Bioware added the "Portland Hipster" class. With this particular class you must have very *low* will power - when it comes to thrift stores.

I don't really want robes for my mages. Instead, I'd like clothes/armor such that you wouldn't trip yourself. The only thing I would risk tripping myself in would be hoods and cloaks. Like the one Raven from DC wears.
Also, I'd like to show off the muscle I stacked on during my creation in the CC, so sleeveless tops? Give me pants and I'll go barechested.

Since this is likely going to be set in Orlais (or at least, rumoured to do so), can we get the Huge, Fantasy 1980s Marie Antoinette hairdos that Liliana said were all the rage in Orlais - with or without live birds. Maybe a peacock.

I want pants for mages, but robes are okay of they're kinda split up the front like Anders' was. Some amour for mages, but not too much- obviously they don't train in strength, so may not be able to cart as much around as a warrior or rogue. Mage hats with less feathers and horns and weird shapes and..on second thought, just no mage hats.

Hoods are good, but not so freakishly low that your rogue/mage couldn't see properly. Cloaks and long coats are so awesome but I have to think of practicality- how easy it would be to trip over them, or have them flapping about ridiculously when your rogue backflips away.

Also, when buying armour/clothes, I would LOVE the ability to see what it looks like on BEFORE I buy it.
As for hair, long would be fantastic, but only as long as it fits around the armour okay. The option to add bangs separately would be fun- give it some more variety.

I like cloak and hood. It's always the standard image I look for when creating a mage, although it pertains more to rogue and thief.

since my thread was closed sadly :P I wanted to ask u where u got ur avatar XD....

and don't let me get started on mage fashions in DA:O UGH

I mean the armors looked nice and all but there was no variety, and the mage stufff was just BOOOOOOO

also would it kill them to animate a cloak every once in a blue moon??!!! I mean summoner is a 2000 release game and it HAS A cloaked character, or look at the new batman games thats one sick cape, and its not that hard they can animate one then just slap differnt textures to it to make different types

work with me here bioware we need more items and weapons and cloths in DAI

also plz no powerranger spiky monster stuff that crap makes me sick, last thing we need is red armor with horns that emmits plasma and fire and has demons dancing on the shoulder pads

In another thread, I know someone mentioned this and got chewed apart for it. -_- I want crazy hair colors. The NPCs shouldn't have blue/green/pink hair because it doesn't fit the setting (Unless Orlesians dye their hair/colorful wigs), but I would loveeee it for the PC lol. =D

Okay First  time  posting on this  form like .....EVER!

Ido  agree FASHION IS important  to a  game. Speshaly this one,  becase its so loved  and the  characters are  awesome,  and  it would  so  help  if there was more  veriety in the  fashion in the  dang  towns  when your  in them  and all you  see is the  town people  wearing the  same hting  but in  another   icky  colo. It  does  get  dull after a wile.

Anywho I was  reading up on  the  fashon in DA.. and  frnkly i wished they would  show it more. Like how the Ferreldins (im horris  I play the  games  so much  i still cant  spell the  dang names right)  have  lether and  fur and  ar e more of the  barbarien kind of  look . Dressed for  practicality  and weather.  I do  get that, and i love it but we dont  see it...liek at all.  The only time you  see  fure are on the  Other  verson of the mages grab,  or in  DA2.... a little  really.

Also....Enugh  with  the   bad  armor looks for the woman  sereisly Dl, Sex apeal  is not  going to take  down  darkspon! Legs, arms  chest  and  neck and other  places for  Vital  organs  need to be  prtected. The only  person who should be wearing  so little  is Morrigan , but then again Ihted her outfit so much.

It would  be nice to  see chest plates on the  mages,  yes they need light  armor,  but a  chet plate of  shin or  elbo gards would be nice.

And better hats! please  can  we have better hats and  helmets  and nothing dorky  for the mages, I feel they kinda of get the  sucky  end of the  stick when it  comes to  hats and  bad robs, like really  bade  robes.

Potental  mage clothing ideas.
(ignore my  artwork,  just an  idea on what im talkign about.)

But I  do  love the  idea of the  chestplate  for mages.
and the fact  we need  better hats...or...OR hOOODS! what about hoods 8D

Hoods  would  be nice xD

Masks! an armor similar to Duke Prosper's, some armored robes!

Personally I would love to see some masks, especially if they allow your character to be horribly disfigured, like a mage who wears a mask because they delved too deep into the darker arts and had a spell backfire leaving him permanently disfigured, of course it would never happen with the way Bioware tries to emasculate the player by making out their character is the most amazing and good looking character who ever lived even if they happen to look like this however you do need to admit it would make for a pretty cool and creepy Inquisitor.
