Adventure. In the early '80s, it was an all text game (written in Fortran) I played on a mainframe Digital® computer at school. Playing after classes, it took two of us just under a year to complete. The opening line was: "Welcome to Adventure! Would you like instructions?"
Had to kill a dragon with my bare hands.

The oldest game I can recall playing is Super Mario Bros on the NES.
