Where you seem to be the only focus of the entire enemy wave budget? No matter what your teammates are doing, the enemy is only attacking you, chasing you across the map like some fictional super predator from a cheap horror flick?

Well, I just had that. Twice in a row when PUGing Gold with my Paladin. I just died, and died, and died. Somehow I still managed to top the scoreboard, so I am fairly convinced I was indeed facing the brunt of the enemy, as there's no other explanation I could rack up enough points by dying so often.

Completely killed the mood for PUGing right now. Just wow. Never had that before.

Yes, leading the team in scoring is a factor I believe they have said. those games are hard to play for sure. Who did you have as team mates? (As in what classes?)

All the time.

But my teammembers are usually dead when that happens.....

Two Infiltrators and one Human Soldier.

Somehow the game must have decided to drop all enemy aggro on me whenever they used TC. It was unreal, really.

Though it wasn't as if I was ahead by heaps of points. Total score in the end was around 140k for me, next up 120k, 120k and 110k.

Two infils, there's a pretty good reason. (And I don't care what the rules or mechanics or anything like that say.) When you play with infils you get more aggro your way zero question about it from my game experience, just as if I am playing an infil I get a lot less aggro overall.

That's always been a thing. Sometimes aggro is better meted out but a lot of the time, I find I'm the focus of a lot of attention.

i faced the brunt of the force earlier. my team was dead so it was understandable but they died so early that by the time i killed 2 banshees even more were respawning. i don't know how i survived that wave. ( failed the mission though ) =]

That doesn't count. I mean even though all your teammates are still alive, you are still the only target for the enemy. There's no mystery about being the only one attacked if you're the only one still alive ...

I like it when the enemy focuses on me. Makes it all the more satisfying when I melt their faces.

if you have 2 or more Infiltrators in a game, and your not one of them, then your gonna have a bad time.

Yeah, that's why I like playing with someone that massively outscores me. Usually means they get to be the buttmonkey instead of me.

I hear ya OP. I've had instances where I have 2 team mates in front of my position and the banshee warp goes to the left of the one, to the right of the other, and heads right at my face and i'm like "wha'?!?!?" Or like I've got the phantom dragoon hit squad 6 on my rear chasin and im hauling arse back to the general vicinity of the rest of the team hoping to drop a little bit of that aggro (ditch a phantom or a dragoon on a team mate and/or help drop em - usually tell them if on mic/friends "heads up, bringing some friends") and even though they are all shooting, newp they dont care they want you and only you. Happens, def happens.

I think it's related to your DPS. When I play my Claymore GI the enemies usually come after me since I'm murdering everything in sight. Banshees get a hard-on for me and so on ... just kill them before they kill you, fall back when surrounded and kill them through right-hand advantage.

Er, you're playing a Paladin which means topping the score board isn't terribly difficult in the first place. I've played my Paladin more than any other kit, by a massive margin. "Score" isn't a reliable tool to judge your capacity on a Paladin. It'll be high, doesn't mean you done good. (Really only you can tell that once score becomes meaningless)

What were your team mates playing in those rounds? If two or three of them are infiltrators you'll go down a lot. It's to the point I won't queue up with a lobby if there are three infiltrators.

The other thing to remember is if you snap freeze people through walls, then wander off attacking something else... they remember you, and they aren't happy. And they're probably behind you now.

I didn't realize a high score drew enemy aggro o_O
