Ok, so theres a couple of promotions that Nintendo have doing the rounds at the moment that enable you or a friend to get somewhat 'free' stuff. Just thought I'd do a post here so that people dont miss out. Note that both are relevant only in specific regions (not the U.S. for example)

First up is this one for Monster hunter Tri: Ultimate on the 3DS

This one essentially means that anyone who has already registered MH with Nintendo can get a bonus copy for a friend at no extra charge. The only caveat here is that the person you are giving it to has to have registered a 3DS/XL console AFTER the 3rd of June, which I found out only after trying to give a bonus copy to a family member. Shame. A little too complex, but a nice opportunity anway if you have a friend who already has MH, then aquire a 3DS after that date, or if you haven't registered your console yet.

Regarding the second, this ones had a bit of actual coverage, so anyone applicable has probably already heard of it by now, but its worth mentioning just in case.

The 'So Many Games' promotion gives a list of 8 games, buy and register any 3 of them and you can get a download code for a 4th for free. Not bad, considering how nice the list is.
