OK, so I know that officially, the Citadel DLC was the last DLC for Mass Effect 3. So until we get ME:4, we get no new content.... Well, so far it seems that Bioware has absolutely no idea what they're going to do with the next game, so it's probably not coming out any time soon. I don't see it coming out in 2014, maaaaaaaaybe 2015. So until then were stuck with what we got? Well that sucks. People are going to start to drift away from the series if nothing new comes out, and by two years a lot of fans will be gone. I gotta say, another DLC would probably fix this. Even with all of Bioware's efforts going towards the next game, they still cant come up with anything...

So if there was another DLC what would you want to see?

Weapons DLC

Armor DLC(everyone gets a new overpowered armor)

Multiplayer DLC is always a good idea

A Subtle DLC to give Bioware the flexiblity to whatever they damn well please for ME4.

So, we have devolved to a point where when a series isn't annual, the fanbase is destined to "drift away" unless spoonfed over-priced and mediocre (yes, there are exceptions) content until the next installment comes? I'd rather have them focus on the next game, and make the best of it.
Funny how Assassin's Creed is being ridiculed for "rushing" all it's content (games and DLC alike).

2 years between the official end of one installment and another is necessary. Good games need time, and having as much of bioware's focus on the next ME as possible is a much better course of action than throwing out DLCs to fill the gap between the two games.

Also, if it's fans drifting away you're worried about, DLCs won't help that. Especially considering the gaming communities opinion regarding DLC.

We'll probably get a DLC that sets up ME4 - probably like Genesis in which you make your choices from ME1 to 3.

We'll get a DLC like arrival, and like arrival the devs will decide to scrap what they had planned and write it off with a couple sentences.

A "fan" that looses interest in a series after a year or two to the point that they're uninterested in news of a new game isn't a fan, they're a one-off player. Fans by their definition will be interested, no matter how long it takes.

Also, they're developing it right now. They expressly said the point of them cutting it off at Citadel was so they could work on the next ME product. It's still in high level dev, yeah, but it's not like they're stumbling around in the dark on where to go. I'm sure they're through high-level concepting, and they're probably deep into working out the outline for the game story and the mechanics.

... So, yeah, invalid assumptions. Be patient. It's possible (If unlikely) we could get the vaguest teaser at this E3, and we'll almost definitely have something official by the end of the year.

Sure people will drift. Drifting doesn't mean they won't be all over it the second it comes out.

Plus, you'll get new people. It's not a dire situation.

In dreamland, though, I'd take DLC about Shep's psych profile stories. Sure we know the basics of what happens. But I wouldn't mind playing through it and exploring them in a more fleshed out way.

Besides it's Shep I'll miss the most next time around.

exactly its the same as with Command and Conquer After 1, i watched for the release date for 2, then tere was Red Alert, after that i pretty much didn't care, then Red Alert 2 came out and bought it first week, Then we heard nothing of Command and Conquer for like what was it, 5 years... (oh wait I think there was Command and Conquer Generals before C&C3) but then C&C3 came out bought it, then RA3 (which I think was one of the weakest of the RA's pretty much starcraft 2 imo) not a year later C&C4 (which while yes wrapped the story up seemed more like a waterdown verson of C&C3)

Edit: now that I think about it the more actors and story they tried to throw into it the more it felt like ham and what not

But anyway I got all the games I am a fan of C&C , also considering Skyrim was my first Bethesda game, I'm also now a fan of there games.

But honestly its not the DLC that will make my buy the next game, That they make, after so many bad game purchases gameplay is a major issue, "Is the game fun to play" is my first question for ANY game I buy, thats why as of late I wait for reveiws and not the ones from IGN and the like, honestly I've seen too many stars go up on **** games. so they have no crediablity for me. The most I ever go to IGN for is walkthoughs and finding out release dates on games. Maybe Ill read an article or 2 but thats generally after I dealth with a game crash and just want to kill time till the HD is done freaking out.
