As well as providing an excellent addition to the list of custom builds available you may well have provided a new injection of energy into the community.
I will likely never play your work, I am too addicted to the tool set to set aside that much time but I do congratulate you on the release and I'm grateful for any new blood you may bring to the community.
Seven years is a long road. What's next?

The manual installation is pretty much "for dummies" already, but it could save you some dozens of complains about the game being bugged when it's all due to a bad installation.
You may also consider adding to the description on the Nexus a couple of lines about the module using NWN2 rules (i.e. edition 3.5, not 2.0), and that you don't need to install the original BG or anything like that. All these things may look obvious, but I've seen a number of people asking about them.
N.B.: I made sure that my installation would run correctly before writing this post, in case I had to swallow my words and feel like a dummy myself.

Just an idea: I've been taking a look at the messages on the Nexus, and it seems like many people are installing a module for the first time. Have you thought of making an exe autoinstaller (no idea if that's easy to do, but I've seen it in a few modules)?

I have an updated User Guide that has a step-by-step process with pictures. Unfortunately, I don't think many people are reading this. We can definitely look into leveraging something like 7-zip to create an installer (I think), but I don't want to hurt the NWN2 community that really knows what they're doing from doing whatever they'd like with the files. I'll definitely look into this though; good suggestion!

Hehe shame you could not have charged $10 per download, you and Shallina could have taken some time off
Just out of interest, why the Nexus not the vault? I can understand having only one location to keep track on things I just wonder that 28,000 - 30,000 hits in a week may have made IGN perk up a bit, that would have been nice.
I guess with the IGN site you could not count on getting the support that you might get on the Nexus.

50000 downloads... You should get a percentage of the game's sales since the module was released.
Wow. That's a lot of action for a game promoted primarily by word of mouth. Wonder if any of the power that be are paying attention to these numbers?

The Nexus counts each file downloaded seperately, so if a mod has six required downloads to play and one person plays it, it counts as six downloads since they downloaded six things in order to play it. There are roughly 7500 downloads of each of the six required files if you go to the files tab, so that's a more accurate number of people.Arkalezth wrote...

My guess is they track via ip number or something, so if you downloaded something twice in a row it would be two total downloads, but one unique one.Arkalezth wrote...
Well, it's less impressive then, but still impressive for a NWN2 module. Now I'm confused about the "unique downloads" vs "total downloads".

The unique numbers of the individual files add up to approximately match the unique number at the top, so each individual file's download contributes to the number at the top. They don't add up exactly, but the discrepancy between them might be accounted for by the downloads of the original set.
