Since they'd be spending more time with their mother on the crew deck, I guess they'd be hard-edged biotic information brokers who are suspiciously proficient at firearms.

And they would never get dates. If the copious amounts of heavy weapons (Including enough guns to equip an entire regiment each with a different gun) And enough explosive ordinance to level milwaulkee didn't deter some of my daughter's suitors, her extended family would. Wrex and space-batman (Garrus) Would see to that, if kasumi didn't.

No, it's not genetic as biotics develop, at least in humans, by exposure to element zero. And even at that it's a slim chance at best that they would be biotics. Most element zero exposure just leads to brain cancer or other deformities.Nightdragon8 wrote...
... i dont think its ever stated that for humans is biotics genetic? I mean its only been what 60 years sence mass effect tech has been around.

Do you even shadow broker?
Lrk moar pls
Ontopic, seeing as Mine's with Tali, I guess theyd be non-existant.
I believe Jack, Ashley and Liara are the only options with Manshep, and Kaiden and Liara are the only options with Femshep yes?
Oh wait I humped the consort in ME1, woops, guess I got kids after all.

The children of Piers V Shepard and Ashley M Williams would be as follows;
1) Kimberly Madeline was always sober-minded like her father and would retire as a Chief Medical Officer in the Alliance. She and her banker husband had one daughter ... a specials needs child named Maddy that was her grandmother's shadow.
2) William Tennyson loved fast things such as cars, women and planes. He gave his mother more grey hairs than she could count and died in his early thirties while testing a new type of spaceship for the Alliance. His widow and newborn son moved in with the older Shepards.
3) Thaddeus "Tad" Victor was studious and became an Episcopal Priest in Charleston, SC. He was proud of his parents but shied away from any kind of "Shepard" spotlight. He would marry his high school sweetheart and they would have two sons.
EDIT: Piers and Ashley retired just outside Charleston, SC so that Ashley could be close to their children. Piers was in full agreement as he loved nothing more than being with his family.

but for human or other race and even for shepard bearing a child would be difficult depending on the scenario. and impossible if shepard were deceased in the case of fem shep.
but male shep may have had a child with any of the human female L.I. even if death after beam run, if shep had sexual contact with fem human li.
for turian, salarian, quarian or krogan relationship adoption maybe?

As for the rest:
Biology will not cooperate for the following: Tali, Garrus, and Thane.
We also know (see Lair of the Shadorbroker files) that Miranda is incurably sterile.
Jacob is biologically possible, but in ME3 we learn that Jacob is a 'playa' and he ditches Shepard for someoe else almost as soon as Shepard is 'detained' and has a kid by her. If Shepard isn't pregnant by Jacob's kid when the Reapers invade (and it doesn't seem like she is), she never will be.
As for Jack, apparently Jack has some sort of neural-muscular degenerative condition which actually acts like a Biotic accelerant (read the Codex Entry on Jack's Bio-Amp in ME2). That being so, I don't think Jack is fertile either.
That leaves the VS, Liara, Shialla, and the Consort as possble candidates for parents of Shepard's kids and most of these are Asari.
