Shepard and Miranda (after she is reverses her infertility) have one child, a daughter.

She inherits her mothers breathtaking beauty, and has her intelligence, her wit, and her desire to accomplish great things. She also has her mothers Australian accent. She of course also inherits her mother's physical constitution, the perfect genes made even more perfect with Shepard's best.

From her father, she gets the relentless curiosity, the staggering charisma, the adventurous and restless spirit, and the unflappable will that is physically impossible to stop.

Shepard and Miranda have basically just upped the gene pool with their daughter.

Yeah, highly disciplined special forces soldiers who make it to Commander are known to not be able to use contraception.

She ran out of space contraception. She attempted to use her biotics to create a mass effect field condom but she lost concentration when she most needed to have not lost her concentration... if you know what I mean.

All these blue kids...that really doesn't sound healthy, you should see a doctor about this. What have you been feeding them?

Garrus and Shepard would adopt a Krogan girl, name her Mordin, and train her to become the single most badass entity the galaxy has ever seen.

And with the Shadow Broker as her godmother? That kid would get one hell of an education.

Both of my romance can't produce children since I only play as maleShepard while romancing Kaidan and Tali. In my headcanon, they would do the procedure similar to Miranda. If it's not possible, then Shepard and Kaidan would adopt a turian baby while Tali and Shepard would adopt Grunt.

I can't really imagen a child raised by Shepard and Garrus. Simply because any individual raised by those two would be beyond mortal comprehension.

Ugh no thanks on the children angle.

Nasty creatures that suck the life right out of you!

Besides all of my Shepards would be busy empire building with Wrex, Garrus, and god tier Javik, no time for spawn in that business.

Nah I'll just make sure Javik, Wrex, and Shepard pull off their ascension to godhood.

One Empire under the big three with tyranny and injustice for all!

Of all of Shepard's possible Love Interests and Bed Partners, I too am inclined to agree that if Shepard had children at all, they'd be Asari. Near as I can tell, the mother would be either Liara, Consort, or Shialla. (I am guessing that even one meld with an Asari is enough for her to get pregnant by you at some indeterminate time in the future.)

As for the rest:

Biology will not cooperate for the following: Tali, Garrus, and Thane.

We also know (see Lair of the Shadorbroker files) that Miranda is incurably sterile.

Jacob is biologically possible, but in ME3 we learn that Jacob is a 'playa' and he ditches Shepard for someoe else almost as soon as Shepard is 'detained' and has a kid by her. If Shepard isn't pregnant by Jacob's kid when the Reapers invade (and it doesn't seem like she is), she never will be.

As for Jack, apparently Jack has some sort of neural-muscular degenerative condition which actually acts like a Biotic accelerant (read the Codex Entry on Jack's Bio-Amp in ME2). That being so, I don't think Jack is fertile either.

That leaves the VS, Liara, Shialla, and the Consort as possble candidates for parents of Shepard's kids and most of these are Asari.

You forgot about Kaiden, Ashley and Kelly Chambers. Though, they are not without problems - Kaiden could not work because female Shepard basically died and a lot of her body was replaced - not sure if she would be able to give birth either, especially after the brutality of the last mission. She still can be cured, though. Jack can be cured too, that's not a problem with state of the art medicine. She will lose most of her power, though.

As for Miranda, it is much more complicated, because her genetic code is corrupted. She would not be able to concieve a child even with the best of equipment. Impossible by all accounts (but hey, Shepard seed can do impossible thing just like himself). Anyway, they can create a tube kid, like Miranda was created.

Kelly and Ashley (despite coma) could count as mothers, though.

No he didnt, VS stands for Virmire Survivor - Kaidan/Ash. However Id say its a stretch to assume Jack cant get pregnant. Also dont Asari get pregnant or not at the time like Humans? Does it actually say they can somehow "store" the meld, and use it to get pregnant later?

I'm assuming Garrus got dissilusioned with your dystopia along the way, and ended up backstabbed?

I've got kids. It's hard enough to imagine what they will grow into. I'm not sure how to participate in this thread, without projecting my real kids into the story.

Nope he just opted out of regular divinity.

He became the god in charge of keeping the multiverse running via eternal calibrations.

Liara says this in ME1 or at least strongly implies it when she says the bond is a union that transcends time and space (and it's when she is expicitly talking about Asari reproduction).  I take that to mean that once an Asari has melded/mated, they can choose to have a child at any time.

Considering that Miranda's condition is hardly a problem even by today's standards, I find it pants-on-head retarded that her infertility is even a problem. All she needs to do is go to a hospital and have a quick operation. Given the technology jump from real life to ME, this hardly seems a bad idea. I headcanon that there are reasons why Miranda never had such a treatment done (always working; member of a terrorist organization; would not want to raise a child under that banner). Shepard and Miranda having kids is easily within the realm of possibility. Seriously, look up why Miranda is infertile. Bioware doesn't do health very well.

That said, it all depends on how you play and view your Shepard. I know that my Shepard is morally a paragade. He's intelligent, competent, and cares deeply about the people he's close to. Miranda in sharply intelligent, in perfect physical condition, and is one of the most caring people Shepard meets.

Just based on their genetics, a kid from Shepard and Miranda would have an enormous advantage from the start.
