Yes, no, and Yes.

They would keep the remains of the Geth Platforms for target practice, so not totally Geth-free.

Yknow I noticed something, almost all Tali lovers have envisinged adopting Quarians, very few have said theyd adopt just humans.

All Tali-lovers love Quarians. Is that really so hard to see? :P

I am unable to decide which LI should be mai canons.  Therefore, I will propose the possible outcomes of (my) Shepard's offspring:

Shepard/Miranda offspring would be the most superior biotically and mathematically gifted children in teh galaxy.  Everyone at Grissom Academy would look upon them in awe.

Oh, and before people bring up Miranda's infertility: IVF.  Either that, or Miranda undergoes a treatment to make herself fertile.

That and because Tali and Shepard will be living on Rannoch,  it just makes more sense to adopt quarian kids rather than having humans growing up amonst a planet consiting mainly of an entire other race.

I'm one of the rare Ashley fans apparently. I typically choose High EMS Destroy so my Shep can grow old with Ash and start a family. She's always been big on family, plus my Shep being a spacer and so close to his crew, it's kind of a given. I'd have to say their child(ren) would be the epitome of tenacity with a strong Paragon streak to them and a talent with weaponry.

Actually, we discussed Miri's infertility, and came to the conclusion that the doctor who wrote up the note in the shadow broker dossier was either bribed or so incompetent he should be shot, because they can just maker her a new set of reproductive organs. Srsly.

You'r enot the only Ashley fan.

After my (MEHEM) ending, I imagine my colonist Shep and Ash would go help rebuild one of humanity's colony worlds once a few relays are back up and running.  And yes, their kids would be tough, outspoken, good with weapons.  No pirate would want to raid this lucky world :P

Vanguard Fshep with kaidan= Very energetic little kids who always break everything and have scrapes and bruises all over them. Might be biotics but i have a head canon theory that when the mother uses biotics when pregnant, that is a safe way for human biotics to be created.

Fshep and Garrus= Randomly adopted kids from different races that both parent teach skills to as they travel around the galaxy. A turian, human, maybe a krogan in there. Possibly a stray asari kid they found. All running around the ship head butting each other, playing, and picking up skills from the crew. EDI constantly running semi inappropriate psych tests on them and giving them things they shouldn't have. Basically EDI will be the cool uncle the does the dangerous stuff.

I don't see why they can't just genetically engineer an embryo that has the characteristics of both the mother and the father regardless of the species. If Miranda could be engineered, I'm sure their technology would allow my Shepard and Tali have little Quari-Humans.

Because it goes WAY deeper than just simple appearances- The very DNA of the two species spin opposite directions.

There are halfbreeds in star trek because literally every species humans can breed with are literally just humans with funny features- It is detailed in the books for star trek that literally every humanoid species is basically just separate sub-species of the same species seeded long ago by an ancient precursor race- in essence, we and klingons are as close as pugs and rottweilers.

But while Miranda was made in a test tube, she is wholly human- Whereas a human quarian hybrid would be incapable of surviving for even a few moments, it's very DNA collapsing in on itself, simply because they are so completely incompatible.

Humans Share 99% of our DNA with monkeys, roughly 80% with DOGS, and about 50% with TREES, why do you assume we would be genetically compatible in ANY WAY with a species FROM AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT PLANET?

I've always envisioned Shep and Tali adopting a boy and girl, one Quarian and one human.  Plenty of orphans after the war that need a loving family.

That's worth thinking about but knowing stuff about DNA, it's has a very remote chance. I'm pretty sure human DNA is different from Quarian's. The proteins and stuff. The structure. Etc. (I'm talking too much.)

If genetic engineers of their time can look past that, then maybe, maybe. Though I can't picture out the outcome. ^_^

I remember there was an episode about that also. The cardassians, romunans, klingons, and humans all find this out on a random planet where an old humanoid tells them this. They all consider peace for like a second and then start fighting again.

Garrus and Shepard would adopt a Krogan girl, name her Mordin, and train her to become the single most badass entity the galaxy has ever seen.

And with the Shadow Broker as her godmother? That kid would get one hell of an education.

That's gonna cause some problems since Wrex was gonna name his first girl Mordin...

It's called Adoption. After an event ike the Reaper war there are probably tons of orphans who need families.

Indeed.  I would guess there there would be scores of orphans for every family that wanted or could accept one.

if it was that easy to fix why would they suggest adoption?

Because Bioware has never been good at portraying health, like I said?

Considering that the cause of Miranda's infertility is benign tumors, the simplest solution is to just have them surgically removed. Seeing how she brought a man back from death and rejuvenated his entire body and kept his memories intact, removing tumors seems to be something that can be done, Considerin that our real life health care can do it, and have been doing it for years.

Yea but the scars from surgey would ruin her 'perfect' body, so not worth it. Till she gets ahold of Chakwas' magic scar fixin machine anyway...

Minus removal of the fibroid tissue, there's really no issue to be had. And scar tissue is easy to remove cosmetically. Most disappear completely. Miranda, with her superior healing attributes, would heal faster from the superficial damage very quickly.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Miranda had already had the fibroid removed. They can cause pain if left unchecked. The email in the dossier is supposed to be 10 years old in game (which doesn't make a lot of sense considering the username and time; fortunately, the writer of the dossier in a tweet cleared it up as an oversight).

All she'll require is gene therapy to reverse the genetic condition, and if all else fails, IVF is still on the table.

I stand by my assertion that the doctor who sent her that email was bribed by her father- and her father probably included that little "Oversight" In her genes on purpose, the psycho.

The funny part is I romanced Liara, not Miranda, so none of this really matters to my Shepard. I just honetly enjoy debating about this for some reason...

And anyone who claims that Sheard could just Genetic together a kid with any non human (Or Liara) Romance option is wrong, especially those who think that it would be possible with Garrus or Tali- Our very Amino Acids are incompatible.

My Shepard with Kaidan would have a few children, three at the most. To them, their parents aren't the first and second human spectres, saviors of the galaxy but the annoying stick-in-the-muds who not only embarrass them at parent-teacher conferences but are paranoid. They inherited biotics (as its only been a handful of decades and both parents are biotic, I hardly think there's a definitive answer) but they're just average, or really lazy.

They get babysat by former squadmates that Shepard trusts as between her Akuze squad and Brooks she's very leery of any extremists looking to touch her kids to get to her or to see what they've inherited. They don't want to hear that their mother is a Spectre and saved the galaxy from the Reapers. That's Commander Shepard, not "Mom" who shows their baby holopictures to everyone who meets them and the legendary biotic spectre who can blast a singularity on par or better than an Asari as she tears mooks apart with her mind, swinging her assault rifle around a cool figure a far distance from the woman who uses her biotics to go through their rooms for the dirty laundry she will throw at them.
