I haven't a clue why.

Even some of the people on my friends list have their's locked.

Are they ashamed of their game time?
Credits saved?
Low consummable count?
Are they using 6/6/6/6/6 builds?

The manifest isn't a "Dear Diary" log.

I bought my manifest, and it came under a lot of scrutiny, so i could see people doing that locking theirs.

Hackers and cheaters too probably would lock theirs.

And then there are people who don't understand the internet, and think people can find out all of your personal information and take over your brain just by having a computer inside of your home, like my parents did when i lived there.

I wish I knew as well op, if some one wants to see how much level IV cryo ammo I have who cares, I know I don't, and if they want to see my build who cares, if my build could make a bad player slightly better then that's a good thing.

so is the reason that theyre are bad pugs, because people who are good lock there manifest so they can easily out score others with theyre ridiculously broken secret build?

It makes you wonder just how many all powerful, cheating builds I have buried in there. Doesn't it?

My 999999 build cannot see the light of day.

Does it impact you directly if you can't see someone else's manifest? Does it cause you emotional or physical pain? Because if not, I really don't think it matters.

Another point, which might cause serious trouble, is that you can also see the recent challenge completions including date and time when it happened. So things can become difficult if you say: Oh honey, I had such a hard day at work. And then she says: Hey honey, you wanna take a look at your manifest :lol:

Dude, it was obvious that you didn't drop a couple hundred bucks on a computer game. You used one of the guides you saw on reddit/etc and you hacked your credits.

Stop trying to play it off like the ****** you are.

If I did it, it would be because of the shame of my points/waves ratio under 'Spectre Mastery.'

The only time I've ever had someone's manifest being private get in the way is when they're wondering how many waves they have to do with some character or something. But this causes me no distress, so.
