Title, I'd like to be able to play games like Fallout:NV and maybe even ME3 on it.
Looking for a good new laptop with a budget of around €800 - €900

Do you want to play on 1080p (1920x1080) res or 720p (1376x726)? The latter you can play New Vegas and ME3 on at max settings and 60-80 fps for about 700$ (probably even lower).. I personally don't believe getting a 1080p laptop is very good if you want to use it for gaming. However 1080p is much nicer for watching movies and working in programs like Excel.
I'm not familiar with Europe, but HP is very good in the US. They even have a program that gives you 20% off if you are student on custom build laptops. So I got to make myself a 800$ laptop for essentially around 700$ after shipping and taxes that fit my exact needs.
AMD A-10 Processor, with a dedicated graphics card is probably going to give you your best bang for your buck in performance when it comes to gaming, I bet an A-10 CPU by itself could max ME3 and NV at 720p.
