I thought I was pretty sure I heard Anders say that in the event of his death "he'll just go back to the fade" in one of the ambient dialogues he had with Hawke or another party member during Act 3.

As an Anders fan I have pretty much choose all dialouge options with him and have done everything than gives slightest information and I head no such thing. You need to be more specific and tell me when that happens.

I conferm. In Act 3, during his companion quest "Justice", when he explains that the "potion" was a trick to get Hawke's help. He says that Justice will survive both him and Hawke, and that for spirits death is different, since they just go back in the Fade. I have just played that part few minutes ago.

Yes I know that conversation. But Justice has to die right? I don't think killing Anders would kill him too as beheading kristoff wouldn't help either.

Anders doesn't really seem to know with any real certainty, which is the point. He's fairly in the dark about the whole thing, and makes some assumptions throughout all three Acts about his symbiosis with Justice, as well as what might happen if he dies.

I killed that terrorist, he better stay dead in DA3.

You only stabbed a guy posessed by a spirit who is known to have the ability to reanimate a corpse it posesses. In this setting there also exists a woman who was inhabited by a spirit at the moment of her death and continued on as herself.

And you expect this guy to be irrevocably dead?
