We all knew this was coming. We knew it was gonna be big, literally the one of last great exclusives of this console generation. I'm not gonna say anything about the game until I get to play it myself, but the reviews are in, and they are crazily optimistic. Over 50 reviews in, current Metacritic score at 95%.

I'm not gonna lie, Naughty Dog has yet to dissapoint me. That's why I'm excited for it. The game is out on June 14th and I'm gonna play the hell out of it. Until then - just listen to the MAIN THEME by Gustavo Santaolalla.

For the first time since I bought my XBOX 360, I wish I had bought a PS3 instead. That's what my thoughts are. The Last of Us looks amazing.

The overwhelming hype and amazing reviews for this game as got me interested. I had about a 2 out of 10 interest in this game until today. But after reading and watching reviews from all sorts of publications. My interest is at abut a 9, I cannot wait for next friday. This game looks amazing. Looks like Naughty Dog has done it again. Hard to believe that they could improve upon Uncharted 3's amazingness, but it looks like they have.

I thought Uncharted 3 was a mediocre CGI-filled snore fest, which tried too hard to be a Hollywood Blockbuster over being a game. The reviews of Gamereactor seems to indicate that Last of Us plays nothing like Uncharted -- Where it feels like most of the time the player is but a spectator to the action. The emphassis on stealth is a very welcome surprise and I wonder if Ellie is gonna compete with Elizabeth for the title of best AI companion. She certainly seems interesting and the plot does revolve around her after all. Looking forward to playing it!

NBC claims that "The game has the best writting and pacing ever seen". I have to play the game first before I'm gonna believe claims like that

I've had The Last of Us preordered for months, and the more I hear and see, the more excited I get.

Troy Baker.  I've had a fangirl crush on his voice since I first played Persona 4.

Although the list of voice actors for this game is really small. I hope it isn't another Oblivion in that regard.

Well, people been hyping this along with Watch Dogs since they were announced. Idk, it looks good, but even then thjat doesn't mean it's an instant pre-order.

I wasn't planning on buying (seems like just another Uncharted), but the reviews are so stellar that I may pick it up.

I actually preordered it a while back, and I don't even have a PS3 yet. I was sort of planning on waiting for the official PS4 reveal and more info about whether or not the Gaikai thing is really going to happen (they did say that they hope to be able to allow people to play older PS3 games, etc., so I'm currently in a "do I wait or do I just buy a PS3" mode).

Read the Polygon review. It's the lowest critic score at the moment and they gave it 75.

That's the problem with Naughty Dog. Their games are way too conventional. They're all about the presentation, specifically set piece moments.

I'm sure it's a good game but I grow tiresome of the Naughty Dog kool-aid reviewers drink before each of their games. I mean seriously? "Best game of this console generation." Yea no way in hell I'm not going to be disappointed.


...I'm going to wait a week before I decide whether to get it.
