Never thought I would ever say that, but I guess someone had to make something much better than ME Trilogy eventually.

The Last of Us has linear story and quite little scale (compared to games like ME), but somehow this story feels much more immersing, intriguing, and instructive than anything I've seen before. Devs did the awesome work.

I don't like post-apocalyptic story settings. I don't like "zombe" story settings. But still I just love the Last of Us story, and especially its ending. It forces you to think a lot, just like ME3 ending. Some very interesting ideas and conclusions come to mind after that. I hope BioWare will keep TLoU in mind when producing nex-gen games.

Is it confirmed that Naughty Dog is going to make DLC? I don't remember any DLC for the Uncharted series, so I don't know if they'll do the same for TLOU.

Too be honest though, I don't think I want a sequel to the game.

I don't know if their gonna make a sequel but I heard that Naughty Dogs said that Joel and Ellie story is over

So if they do make one then it will feature someone new

Hmm, yes. Its not like someone didn't just ask about the Uncharted, since there both Naughty Dog. And based of said track record I would be very surprised if we see any story DLC for The Last of Us.

Just finished The Last of Us (about damn time!).

What an ending.... pewwwwwwwwwww.... damn...

All I can say is, I totally agree with Joel's actions, though it was obvious Ellie did not buy is lies at the end.

I really wish to see a DLC that continues the story of Ellie and Joel. I would like to see Ellie growing up and I would love to see how Ellie reacts when she finds out the truth about what happened in the hospital.

Do you folks think Ellie would agree with Joel's actions? Or do you think she would be mad at him if she discovers the full truth?

I think Ellie didn't really believed Joel's lie.

Also, it's been said that if there is a DLC for the SP, it will be a side story or something like that. There won't be more of Joel and Ellie, their story is over, at least for now.

I find that she would be mad at first, but see it from a different perspective and either accept it, but not "agree with it" and either move on for Joel or stick with him.  There is so much that could of gone wrong with the whole "cure" situation anyway and too many "if" moments.

Would a vaccine even matter considering the level of humanity's decimation?

I don't think their story is over and I really hope these side stories DO involve Joel, Ellie or both.

I WANT MORE ELLIE!

In my opinion? No.

Joel probably thought the same.

And if it did matter, there probably are more "immune" than just Ellie

Yeah, Ellie may have been "willing" to sacrifice herself, but she really wasn't in a good place psychologically either to make that decision. The story about her friend basically makes it seem like she just wanted to end it, suicide under the guise of sacrifice for the "greater good".

His thought process never made it that far, it was purely an emotional decision for him.

Yeah, I think he just didn't want to lose his "daughter" again.

^It not even that so much. Generally people don't just give up loved ones, whether they have suffered a similar loss or not.

Sure, but he had plenty of time to reflect on his decision during the rescue and after the rescue.

I think after both Joel and Ellie have seen humanities worst, Joel probably figured:  "too hell with humanity, they're not going to kill my Ellie!"

I think his actions are understandable. I mean, his daughter dies in his arms and he find someone maybe as close and that person is in that same situation again, but this time he can prevent it.
