That is why I'm interested, but didn't Ellie know how to use a gun, but didn't use one that we know of till she saved Joel? Hopefully it's more stealth focused, since that is how I played TLOU anyway.

And Slotts, the girl's name is Riley Abel, I believe.

Exactly, Ellie had the skills in her all along it's just that Joel didn't exactly give her the benefit of the doubt, probably due to him seeing his own daughter in her.. or simply underestimating the power of a teenage girl. I'm all for more stealth, given that's how I chose to approach any situation in the main game.

I hope we get to play as Ellie the entire time, don't much feel like playing as Riley. And I rarely used firearms tbh, so just knifing everyone is fine by me. Although I could let it slide if control switched over to Riley during those scripted shooutout moments, if she knows how to handle a gun, and they're far and few between..

Loving it. I'm usually not a big fan of the zombie/apacolypse genre but the pacing, characters, gameplay, and graphics have me sucked in. Things got waaay to tense last night in the flooded hotel (I play in the dark with headphones). I had to flee to Ni No Kuni but will take on the hotel tonight. I'm low on supplies so wish me luck.

Less than 1 week till Left Behind DLC release

I wonder how the DLC story will be told. Completely disconnected to the original story, or something like "Ellie remembers the past after the original story ending, and tells her story to Joel."?

I figured it would be a stand alone thing, as I feel it would break the flow of the game if it was thrown somewhere in the middle. But I could be wrong.

Definitely looking forward to it.

It can't be thrown into the current story though - that wouldn't make sense, IMO. The pacing would be totally off - so I'm hoping you can just pick it from the menu.

It'll be separate content just like always -- RPGs are usually the exception to that rule.

So is this Riley kid going to be the daughter of that firefly woman (can't remember her name)? If so it would explain why she was such a heartless **** in the main game.
