The unity legion is a mysterious organization, Dedicated to upholding it's ideals no matter the cost- Though just what those Ideals are is a matter of much debate amongst many on the extranet. What is not uncertain is that they receive some of the best, and most thorough, specialized training in the galaxy, on par with the best of the best. How a single entity, let alone a non-government private military organization, can afford some of the technology displayed is baffling, but the skill of their operatives cannot be denied.
The Unity Legion produces a staggering diverse and brutally efficient array of weapons, and their operatives have been compared to the Alliance N7 operatives in terms of lethality.
****************************************************************************
Contained within this DLC are new weapons and weapon mods to be unlocked, as well as 6 new Unity Legion multiplayer characters and 2 new maps, as well as hazard versions.
The Maps________________________________________________________________________________
Map 1: Firebase Triad: Set in the lower three levels of a crippled, but still reclaimable, Carrier ship, this map features three floors, each with a different layout and their own hazards and protections. The top floor features an exposed ceiling, with pipes that enemies can jump down from and tangled messes of wires hanging down, but also crates to provide waist-high cover. The middle floor features support pillars, exposed pipes and a low ceiling. The bottom floor is spacious, and features several shuttles and fighters lined up, as well as a a wide, open pit in place of the wall in the directions the fighters and shuttles are pointing at, providing evenly spaced cover and a good place fo chuck enemies out of, as well as the spawning zone and pickup zone. For the hazard version, several things are added: Steam will occasionally burst from the pipes in the center level obscuring vision, the hanging wires on the top level are electrified,and occasionally, on the bottom level, everyone, players and enemies, will stagger somewhat towards the open edge of the hangar bay.
Map 2: Firebase Chasm: a map focusing on a research station built into both sides of a canyon wall, with seven distinct areas, three on each side divided by the open landing pad between the two. Extremely open, the only thing dividing the two sides is distance. each of the six balconies, three on either side, getting smaller as they go higher, feature different layouts. In the hazard version, there is glass covering the top two on each side almost fully, and glass covering all but the connector to the landing pad on the lowest levels of each. it's also pouring down rain, and occasionally there will be a lightning strike, temporarily disabling the overhead and floor lights, plunging the map into almost total darkness for a few seconds.
The Weapons_____________________________________________________________________________
Assault rifle: Knight: A unique, triple barreled assault rifle, which fires three shots at a time instead of the usual one. Though fully automatic, it is nonetheless accurate even at range, as the rifle passively spins each of the three shots around each other, keeping them on target. It is a weapon rarely seen outside the personal armaments of Unity Legionnaires. (It is full auto. In place of one shot at the speed other assault rifles fire at, it shoots three, which orbit about each other till they hit.)
Sniper Rifle: Triad: A unique sniper rifle designed and used mostly by the Unity Legion, this sniper rifle, in place of a traditional bullet, instead fires a mass effect field "Grappling Hook" to pull targets towards the shooter. This imparts CONSIDERABLE kinetic force,often staggering anything it fails to pull towards the user.
Pistol: Duster: A powerful, accurate handgun, with a built-in heatsink rotator to allow the weapon to fire almost nonstop. Rarely seen except as a sidearm for Unity Legion troops, this handgun is nonetheless deadly in the right hands. (Also, it looks like a revolver)
Assault Rifle Power Amp: Much like pistol or SMG power amps.
Sniper Rifle Trick scope: Add a circle around your crosshair when scoped in. If you would fail to hit an enemy with a shot, it will be red. it turns green when you can hit an enemy with the shot.
Speed-clip(Various weapons): Increase reload speed
The Characters____________________________________________________________________________
All characters start with 600 base health and 700 base shields.
Engineer: Unity Legion Bombardier: The Unity Legion Bombardier utilizes specialized bombing drones to provide close artillery-level support capable of responding to changing positions and battlefield conditions faster and more accurately than even the best long-distance artillery operator. Unlfinching in their resolve and their belief in their superiority over any possible opponents, they are capable of tearing through even the most hardened of defenses.
Powers: (For his class passive, he regenerates grenades)

Each drone only fires one shot at the targeted enemy before dissipating. A limited number of these can be carried. (The drone, which is visually similar, but a dull brown instead of bright orange, spawns, and shoots a dull brown beam at the enemy it targets. After a few momentss, The beam turns green. A few momentss later, the drone turns green and A blue sphere shoots down the beam at the enemy at high speeds. This blue sphere is the damage-dealing bit, it does not go through walls or other enemies. what it hits takes the damage, even if it isn't what was targeted. the enemy takes massive damage, then the beam fades and the drone fizzles out) (Each round hits with enough force to stagger a possessed praetorian, no matter what damage it does. unprotected enemies will go crashing into walls)

Power 3: Biotic Sphere
Well! This took me a good three hours, but I think It was worth it. So? How do you like the Unity Legion? I admit, I may have gotten a small bit lazy with the sentinel and adept, but the powers already in the game synergized so well together for tanks I simply had to combine them. How do you like the maps, weapons and characters? Feedback is appreciated!
===========================================================================
Edit: Because you all asked for it, here you all go! A singleplayer portion of the DLC!
After the cerberus attack on the citadel, Shepard will recieve a notification on the terminal in the spectre office that a unity legion ship was discovered crippled orbiting an uninhabited planet in a relatively unexplored system- once you are done reading this, you will recieve the first mission:
Unity Legion: Carrier.
The majority of the map is roughly the same as firebase triad. Shepard and the two squadmates arrive via shuttle to the open docking bay- all lights except some emergency lights are off. One of your squadmates will take notice of the lack of power throught the ship, and the other will suggest finding a way to restore power on the maintenance level above. As you near the ladder up the the maintenance level above, a tech savvy squadmate will express a little concern about the possibility of a silent alarm being tripped- if neither squadmate is tech savvy, they will simply wonder where the crew was. There is a crate near the ladder, on it you will find a duster pistol to pick up. when you ascend the ladder, several Unity Legion troops will be hiding behind pipes to ambush you- Several Titans with Knight Assault rifles, Armor and Barriers, and a few Contenders with Duster pistols, health, barriers, and Biotic bubble (Specced to apply warp, naturally). Not too much trouble to take out, but they will give you your first taste of combat against this faction- they make good use of the close quarters and their lethality at close range, so they will try to stay within short range often. After defeating the first ambush, EDI will Tell you that she should be able to bring it back online and somewhat under her control if you can reach a device on the other side of the level- Shepard will Ask if she is serious when more Unity Legion troops begin coming up and down ladders to get to your level. You will have to fight your way to the other side of the maintenance level to reach a plug for EDI to plug into. This also introduces a new enemy type- Cataclysms, Armed with Reegar Carbines. they only have armor (Though Significantly more than Titans, roughly on the level of a brute) and move slowly (Think of them like geth pyros) but if they get close their Cataclysm field will set you on fire, dealing damage over time even if their Reegar doesn't fry you to death instantly. When you reach the plug a cutscene will play: EDI will inform you that she is in their systems and apparently their systems seem fully operational. (If EDI was chosen as a squadmate she will be fiddling at the plug, and if not she will be on the radio) Shepard will ask if she thinks they purposefully set a trap for someone, and Edi will reply that the trap was probably for Shepard. She will then say that she would probably be able to find out more if they could get to the command center of the ship. After the end of the cutscene, you will be able to climb a ladder to the top floor, where there is a waypoint on a door- when you try to access the door, it will switch from green to red and shields will cover all the ladders downwards. (Naturally, at this point, will come the 'It's a trap!' Line, of course.) Enemies will begin climbing up through the shields, the three enemies you have already fought, while Unity Legion Breakers jet down from the pipes overhead, equipped with shields, health and a striker assault rifle. After beating several waves of these (And one squadmate asking what this was, a clown car?) Joker will come over the radio and inform you that the ship is not so crippled anymore and is heading down to the surface fast- a timer starts and you have to get back to the place you started in a short time, while fighting through enemies. You still complete the mission either way, but the Following mission varies on whether you make it there or not.
If you make it, you receive the mission Unity Legion: Outpost, and if you don't you receive Unity Legion: Capture. The mission following either is the same, however.
+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=
Unity Legion: Outpost- On the shuttle, Joker will poke fun at you for almost getting captured by "A bunch of guys in trench coats." You land on the landing pad of Firebase Chasm behind a few crates- a Titan will come over to investigate, and you will grab them over the cover and they will accidentally fling their rifle into the shuttle just as it's doors close for it to take off, and you will be able to select the rifle after the mission as a weapon. (Your squadmates will congratulate you on the cool trick) This naturally attracts the attention of everyone around, including a Stalker with a Triad sniper rifle, shields and health. (She functions like a nemesis, but shots from her will stagger you towards her)After fighting off the forces on the landing pad, Joker will mention a weird signal coming from the top floor of one side- Shep naturally goes to investigate. After fighting through enemies to the top floor, (Including snipers from the other side) you find what looks like an interrogation table and a screen with a red triangle and a blue triangle rotating around each other displayed on it. When you interact with it, a conversation starts. Shepard will ask what weird kind of VI interface it is, a voice will come out replying (Computer Generated, of course) that it isn't a VI, it is the Leader of the Unity Legion- and it knows what Shepard has accomplished, and It wants to know more, and maybe do something for Shepard in return. It then informs the squad that it will be waiting on the other side of the complex for Shepard, alone. After fighting to the other side of the map and reaching a door, Shepard will tell the squad to stay behind as they go it alone. Shepard opens the door, walks into an airlock looking room, presses the button to open the other door, then both doors slam shut and an elevator ride to the next mission begins at high speed downwards.
+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=++=+=
Unity Legion: Capture- This mission is done without squadmates, because they were captured too and held in another facility that was easier to find and not hidden by a storm. This starts you in the room you have the conversation on the other mission in, except on the hazard version of the map with a rain storm, shepard on a table, and a sole Titan in the room. The titan will be conversing with the screen with circling triangles when Shepard rolls off the bed, the Titan notices and runs over, then gets grabbed and Shep takes the gun. Then you have a conversation with the spinny triangles, shepard demands to know what is going on, and the triangles inform you that your armor and weapons are in an airlock on the other side, and that it will be waiting just past there. This version of the mission also includes Stalkers, but they will be less dangerous because of the glass covering the outside, preventing them from sniping you all the way from the other side like they could on the other mission. the rest of the mission goes about the same, you fight your way through to the unlocked door on the other side (Though Shepard complains about getting wet when you cross the landing pad) and finds your armor and guns in a box in the airlock- you put them on, try opening the airlock, and it turns into an elevator and launches you at high speeds downwards.
+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=
Unity Legion: Gauntlet.
The last mission, this starts relatively simple- you walk out of the elevator, try the radio, get static, and then decide the only way to go is forward. There is a triad sniper rifle to pickup on a weapons bench here, so make sure to get it before leaving the ante chamber like room you start in. In the first room, there is a maze of low cover and multiple enemies, including a bombardier, equipped with shields, a geth spitfire, and the ability to spawn Unity Legion Bombers. (Which function exactly like Geth bombers, but with only shields) Enemies here will use the low cover maze to advance on you stealthily, but there are only a few cataclysm troops, which are the only ones especially deadly if the get close. After you reach the other side and make it through the door, you will be at the bottom of some stairs- and unlike the maze of cover in the last room, this is an actual maze. Though you don't technically have to fight any enemies, they will spawn randomly in small packs in the dead ends of the maze. Once you find your way out of the maze, you will find an unoccupied atlas and a motion activated door just large enough to fit an atlas through. Take the atlas through the door and you will be in a large circular room with pillars and crates evenly spaced around. enemies will spawn in several waves, sliding down the ladders on the back of each pillar or which are scattered along the walls. Once you finish all of them, a door will open which is NOT large enough for the atlas.In the next room, you will find a blank empty room with just a screen with the rotating triangles on it. It will start a conversation where the screen states that the Unity Legion has never met anyone like Shepard before. The voice describes Shepard as an anomaly that cannot be predicted. Shepard can then choose to debate the voice. The opening of the conversation has a charm and intimidate option- Much like morinth, you need to pass several consecutive charm or intimidate checks- if you choose charm for the final one, then the voice claims that Shepard cannot do what it takes to destroy the reapers, whereas if you take the intimidate option, then the voice claims that you have no chance to unite the galaxy to defeat the reapers- each of these is followed by an interrupt of the OPPOSITE alignment (If you went charm you get a renegade interrupt, and vice versa.) Proving the voice wrong (That shepard can do what it takes, or unite the galaxy, depending.) The voice informs you that it really CAN'T predict Shepard, and that they are free to go- the Legion will lend it's aid. The door you just entered through opens, and you are at the base of the cliffs. You call for pickup. "Joker, get me out of here. I have had the WEIRDEST day."
War assets +35: Unity Legion. (If you convince the voice)
)()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()(
So, How was my single player half? I'm not exactly proud of the ending, but I figure I couldn't give too much more without making the Legion somewhat less mysterious.
Edit: Have improved the ending, hope you like it.
