LOL at Titan. That's some rediculous DR. Also there's a reason no class was given Novaa + AF the result is the Cataclysm... That being said... I approve...

Damage reduction is hard capped by the game at 90% and I intended for the Titan to be able to get as close to that as possible.

And the Cataclysm can restore it's shields by detonating it's fire explosions. These guys are not playing fair, they are playing to win.

Consider yourselves fortunate I didn't give the enemies all the powers that their class versions have.

Titans would be utterly indestructible, as would Cataclysms, and you would get so much stagger coming at you from Breakers.

Try using the Brawers HM after a Biotic Charge when equipped with Blade Armour. You  don't take 10% damage (technically ~35.74% damage due to  how DR works). You don't take ANY at all. Even the Volus Shield Boost isn't hardcapped.

Also as you approach >90% DR you see massive spikes in effective health and shields. Source.

@90% DR (which it isn't hardcapped at) In cover you would get ~900% more shields. Out of cover you'd get ~180% (more than a Cyclonic IV). And that's ignoring health which works as per Cyonan detailed in the link.

At 95% DR (easily achievable) you get 1900% health. 19 times your base health? You wouldn't even need Fitness and you would be invincibility.

I apologize, I was misinformed, sorry.

I do believe, that with this math, it is physically impossible to kill a Titan with all three defenses active without a sync-kill.

Why thank you.

Which class do you like best, might I ask?

Really, any feed back is appreciated from anyone. And discussion of how you would build my classes is also appreciated.

(Personally, I would skip the class passives on the Titan, just because what are enemies going to do to you if you have ridiculous shields from fitness and a stupid huge amount of damage reduction?)

Since the Titan clearly doesn't need a fitness passive, perhaps it could be replaced with a different passive.
Perhaps create a new passive.

I tell you what. I'll do one build a day.If I did all 6 of them in one go, then it would be difficult to keep a momentum flowing.

Starting off with your epic Engineer:

Carpet Bomber [Rank 6]: Damage, Radius, Force
Rail Drone [Rank 6]: Number, Damage, Detonate Combos
Cryo Bomber [Rank 6]: Increase number by 3, Increase number by 3, Increase Chill Effects
Fitness: [Rank 3]
Passive Training [Rank 5]: Power Damage and Weight Capacity, Power Damage

Strategy: Glass Summoner. Send out all three drones to dish out the damage. Snipe from a distance whilst teammates protect the engineer.

The idea is to cover a large area dealing heavy damage to foes and then finishing of the foes with well a scoped assault rifle. A little bit of fitness is added so that the engineer isn't completly vulnerable. To compensate for lack of hit points, cylonic modulators will be used.

Ammo mod: Incendiary/armor piercing/drill/warp ammo. Let the cryo bomber weaken armored foes first and then finish off with any anti armor ammo type.

My engineer, I admit, is perhaps not a traditional engineer compared to the other engineers, who let their pets out and they stay out, because these pets don't last very long, just dropping their payload and then fizzling out, but it's certainly more of an engineer than the talon.

Now for the second of my two specs.

This time the Vanguard.

Breaker Charge: [Rank 6] Damage and recharge, Power/Weapon synergy, Damage/Shield synergy
Breaker Stomp: [Rank 6] Force, Force, Force
Breaker Blitz: [Rank 6] Distance, Distance, Distance

Fitness: [Rank 3]
Class Training: [Rank 5] Power Damage & Weight Capacity, Power Damage

____________________________________________________________________________________

Strategy: Heavy Risk and low health
Carry a light but powerful shotgun. Attach any ammo power.
Go on hit and run assaults as I wizz from one enemy to another.

Keep moving so that I'm not getting gunned down by enemy foes.
Keep charging so that my shields remain active.

Cool- to kill you, they have to damage you. If you don't let that happen, then you are invincible.

Next in line for the build treatment is... TITAN SENTINEL.

In other words INVINCIBLE

In other words- my sentinel that is just stupidly difficult to kill- the one you would probably be all but immune to geth with.

It doesn't need power cooldowns- it has ALL OF THE DAMAGE REDUCTION.

Titan Sentinel: It's all about the melee. Now that I have insane amount of damage protection, I feel more secure rushing in with fists ready to roll!

Tech Armor [Rank 6] : Durability, Melee Damage, Durability
Barrier: [Nothing]
Barricade: [Rank 6]
Damage Reduction, Damage Reduction, Weapon Damage

Fitness: [Rank 6] Melee Damage, Martial Artist, Melee Damage
Class Training: [Rank 6]
Weapon Damage, Headshot Damage, Weapon Damage

_______________________________________________________________________________________

Cataclysm Soldier: I'm going for a tanky build. The only time I avoid the fitness passive is when I'm trying to shoot enemies from afar, or when I'm a ranged caster. But there is way too much close quarters combat for me not to max out fitness.

Cataclysm: [Rank 4] Damage
Inferno Stomp: [Rank 4] Damage
Inferno Capacitor: [Rank 6] Shields, Shields, Shields

Fitness: [Rank 6] Health & Shields, Shield Regeneration, Health & Shields
Class Training: [Rank 6] Power Damage and Weight Capacity, Headshot Damage, Power Damage

Contender Adept:

Last but not least. Okay some of these characters really force me to think, seing as I'm not comfortable skipping points in one power to improve another.

However with the adept, not a big fan of biotic protector. So that makes the build a lot easier. Just exploit the Biotic Sphere/ Annihilation Field combo.

_____________________________________________________________________________________
The Build:

Biotic Protector: [Nothing]
Biotic Sphere: [Rank 6] Radius, Enemy Weakness, Warp Effect
Annihilation Field: [Rank 6] Impact Radius, Damage Taken, Damage

Fitness: Health & Barriers, Barrier Regeneration, Health & Barriers
Class Training: Power Damage and weight capacity, Power Damage, Power Damage

Biotic sphere/Annihilation field- the two have impressive synergy, when you think about it- biotic death fields.

And Cataclysm is really brutal because it heals itself by making enemies explode.

And my titan... I wonder if it is possible to have so much damage reduction you take negative damage.

I think the cap is at 90%.

Interesting. You refer to percentage gains, so I'm guessing the damage rates are still comparable to most other characters? Heavy damage powers of around 1200, minor damage powers 200-500.

The Unity Legion remind me a bit too much of CAT6 tho.
