Hello
I can’t seem to find a guide that helps/shows ability preference for leveling
my companions. I am currently wanting to start a group based around an archer
that auto shoots all day (lazy Mode). I can find tons of Tactic layouts but no ability
priority guide. I can make my own tactic tree layouts but I’m fumbling over
ability priority as I level the companions.

(Any links to guides would be great)

not sure i fully understand what your wanting here, but i will reply, anyhow.

If you playing an "Auto Shoot" archer then you will want to take a look at your companions "Spec" tree for which ones gives which bonuses to Hawk and themselves If I recall correctly, Sebastian gives attack speed to himself and Hawk if he is Friendly. (Sebastian is an archer companion for the DLC)
There are a few others that effect both hawk and themselves, Varric for example DOES NOT effect both he just effects himself.

as for individual skills and abilities, its really personal preference, I tend to set up Anders as a healer spec. and try and go for crow control with him otherwise, or enhancer with his buffs, but the tactic tree is a little wonky as it doesnt appear to follow the the # designations for how you set them up.

I usually just put Self: / Party health under 50% Heal for anders, and have yet to have any other problems. but again its personal preferance, setting your other party members to defensive or passive is also a good tactic if your going to TRY and solo the majority of the game. otherwise you can waste alot of stamina targetting mobs that your party kills with a shot or a spell.

you can set it up so AoE skills and spells are used when your main is surrounded, or if you prefer to use a Tank setup like Aveline have her taunt set to anyone being attacked and then pick off the enemies 1 by 1 with your archer, but overall again its personal preference, not sure exactly what your looking for.
