I had a problem on Win XP after update of 4th june (release 9.2.1). I can't launch Origin. The solution I found on ea suppor forum works fine for me.
After update, in folder /program files/Origins/ you can see an Origins.exe and an OriginsTMP.exe (same size 3.6 Mb)
Just delete Origins.exe and rename OriginsTMP.exe in Origins.exe.
