Aye, there's a Fable 1 Remake Thread where you can find a lot of Fable players.
As for Fable 3, its okay. If its your first Fable game, you'll probably enjoy it. If you've played the superior Fable games that preceded it(Fable 2, Fable The Lost Chapters), then you won't like it as much.

I liked it but I usually like things other people don't like. It was a silly game but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. Only you can find out if you like it by trying it.

It's an okay game taken on it's own. The multiplayer is poorly optimized so expect FPS drops if you try it. It also suffers from loads of blur which I managed to disable once, and have to remember how to do again. Haha. If you already have a copy to play, there's nothing but time lost giving it a chance. SHouldn't take more than an hour or two to decide if you might like it.

It doesn't much resemble Fable 1 or 2. It's not horrible, but sadly, the best part was the film intro.

I liked the spell combinations. Despite how limited Fable's magic mechanics tend to be, combining the different spells in Fable III was somewhat satisfying. My personal favourite was the lightning and fireball combination.

I can't remember which one I dug a lot, but I think I mixed the Whirlwind with Blades.
Yeah. That was insane.

Anything with the blades tended to be a bit spectacular. Magic wise, III was possibly the best game in the series in that regards. You know, minus the whole gauntlet thing, but then again it's not that much different from equipping a single spell to each hand in Skyrim.

I played it and loved it. It's not as good as the first, but I enjoyed it. It's nothing special, but for whats there, it worked for me. There are a lot of flaws, but I'm not too picky for it, since I knew Peter spoke bull**** out of his mouth for PR, rofl.

Yeah I liked it, not as good as Fable: the lost chapters but it's still decent. It's shallow, do not expect anything like Skyrim in terms of sandbox size and don't expect BioWare in terms of story or character development but if you want something that's fun and that you can come back to at leisure where you get rewarded for kicking chickens you could do a lot worse than Fable 3.
I cannot recommend the multiplayer component unless you think the world has too few @ssholes.

To be honest, you're better off waiting for Fable Anniversary, that is if you have a 360.

We were looking for those flowers in the desert, hahaha.

Fable III is not as bad as Angry Joe lets on...
His points are correct, though they are indeed blown out of proportion. Especially his point about "weapons not killing people"; he uses a level one sword un-upgraded, against enemies towards the end of the game, and is mad that they wouldn't "die"...
But yes, Fable III is not as good as II, or the amazing Fable: TLC.

It had its charm, but for the most part I found it more of a sight seeing tour than a game. There's no challenge and I hate to use the phrase, but it is really dumbed down. The biggest challenge is figuring out where you are on the map. Also it feels unfinished, I don't wish to give spoilers, but the best way to put it without giving too much away is that it alludes to you having more time than you actually have. It gives no reason for this, it just skips a bunch of time it told you would have to do certain things.

This is why I don't watch any of that hack's videos.
But yes, I agree with you. Fable III is not as good as Fable II or Fable: TLC.
Hence my suggestion for waiting on Fable Anniversary.

I loved the clothing in Fable II and III a lot better than Fable: TLC. I prefer the upper class coat in Fable II with black and white dyes. My guy looks so awesome.

It's an enjoyable game, but Fable II felt like it had to perfect balance between RPG (which The Lost Chapters was to a pretty strong degree) and a more casual game. Fable III kind of went off in a highly casual direction. It has some very fun and memorable moments, but more than anything it really does feel dumbed down and a touch too short.

Aye, Fable II had the right balance between the two. Though Fable TLC totally worked.
Fable III went way too far in the casual direction.

Another game soured by the ending parts. However, unlike ME3--which I found terrible for most of its entirety--Fable 3 was enjoyable before said ending sections.
