2. Cullen.. you could just see him with Morrigan and he'd be all "WHY ARE WE TRAVELING WITH AN APOSTATE?!"
YES. someone go mod NAOW
Did you actually have that happen? As far as I know, the only things that trigger an instant betrayal are siding with Cullen (reasonable, since siding with Cullen basically means declaring an intent to kill every mage in the Tower, including herself) and defiling the Ashes. Using blood magic with her around will generally lead to big approval losses, but on the other hand, I let the blood mage that surrendered in the tower go, and if Wynne disapproved it wasn't by a large amount.Kiwiya wrote...
If you save the whole tower with your blood magic and then are geniunely repentant... she still risks the future of Ferelden and the Circle to attack you and get herself and everyone else killed. D:draxynnus wrote...
You know, I find it curious that people consider Jowan and Wynne to be an either/or choice. While Jowan is a blood mage and we know Wynne disapproves, he does also appear genuinely repentant for what he's done (otherwise you'd expect him to just run for it if released from prison, which he only does if threatened and then only reluctantly), and Wynne seems like she would be willing to give him a second chance under those circumstances - especially since her own personal quest has to do with her perceived failure with another apprentice. When you get down to it, wasn't Jowan also failed by the system?
For someone supposedly so reasonable, she's a huge hypocrite. Lol, it'd be like Leiliana recruiting Kolgrim.
The obvious choice would be talking her into joining you when she confronts you at the Landsmeet. Or moving the fight to after it and let you either convince her to join you as atonement...devilsgrin wrote...
Cauthrien would be an interesting companion... especially for her potential banter with Sten - who doesn't think women can be warriors... but i just can't see Where we would gain her... we see her only once at Ostagar - in the cutscene where Loghain betrays Ferelden. then not again until much later in the game...i mean just before the Landsmeet, and only slightly earlier when she captures you (or you "kill" her) at Arl Howe's palace...
Accidentally, yes. Instead of pesuading her, Irving and Greagoir that my blood magic was just "seekrit warden spells," I went with the regular lines and she flipped out and attacked me. D:draxynnus wrote...

For romance - I don't think Jowan should be romancable. I suspect he'd be more inclined to try to free Lily and win her back.
I could see Wynne expressing disapproval at Jowan being recruited, and her expressing her opinion regarding blood magic to Jowan at every opportunity, but I don't think it would be instant abandonment material.

9. Kitty! Need a demon cat for Dog to play with.
That's pretty much what I was thinking. Big, initial hit (possibly up to -40, which is apparently her disapproval for cutting a deal with the Tevinter mage in the alienage), with following conversations with her on the subject of Jowan allowing you the opportunity to get those points back and possibly even come out in the lead. This could possibly be extended by Jowan doing things she approves of while she's in the party, which in game mechanical terms would be represented by Wynne increasing her approval of you when Jowan does something she approves of.Krytheos wrote...
It likely would be a difficult check. Jowan, despite his earnest intent to repent, [rhyme not intended.] The Blood Magic could cause one to sway towards tempt, and be forswent into the whole cluster, despite his fluster, and Wynne would then verily pin it all on him.
All rhyming aside, Wynne would disapprove soley because of him being a Blood Mage at first, I imagine, but if shown he to be truly repetant, then it could definitely steer her into more approvals, but that might take a few [probably more than a few], persuasion checks, and/or good approval standing. Which is a bad thing, because my approval with her is basically like asking Ogrhen to sober up once in awhile -- in other words, very low.
Other than the blood mage bit, I imagine if he proves himself and all, she'd welcome him. Eventually.
