I understand I'm just one of many candidates you're interviewing for the harvest, but while I'm here could I ask you another question?
Is the goo co-ed?

Oh yes.  And there's quite a bit of swapping of fluids...if you know what I mean.  *wink wink nudge nudge*

That's all I wanted to know. Beam me up, Harby.

Husks make a note of Big Bad's skill with the undeserving organics.

He shall be promoted to head of our indoctrination outreach program.

Who wouldn't want to be inside a Reaper? Not only do they have friendship cannons but co-ed goo swapping.

Seival, the reapers are like cancer. They turn healthy cells (normal people) in to cancer (husks). They destroy planets. They are bad things. They have no redeeming qualities. None. Goose egg. Zero. Zip. Understand?

Killing them is not genocide. It is like getting rid of a virus.

Quoted for truth!

Reapers are clinically insane after a few millions of years of servitude under the command of a lunatic A.I programmed by a bunch of ****** cuttlefish.

Kinda hard to help people with that much mental baggage.

I just found this Seival gem from a year ago:

(3) Choosing synthesis is very strange. Final stage of evolution? Nonsence. Mass Releys were destroyed. But sooner or later people will invent them again, and sepatated colonies will start to fight eachother. Again synthetcs, but they will fight half-synthetics who made them... Again Reapers, again Citadel. Again same story with different faces.

When did your opinion change, Mr. Synthesis-is-the-solution-to-all-the-galaxy's-problems?

I've seen it as change, that being said and the fact of it's been a year since the game came out. Synth always came at me as the intended outcome, as it makes Shepard's actuality present across a larger spectrum. Taking out all the possible impasse and reaper threats via the catalysts' created cycle of events. All because we/organic life forms require synthetic life forms, in/at one level or another to exist in the MEU.

Seival 'decided' to change, apparently. (I've seen other posters go back an forth on it, their "canon" as if one actually can exist..lol

I find it strange that no one picks on me like they do Auld Wulf? So what the posts are some times 'testy', as that blog permits, often many clamor to gang/bully up on AW, that's a given.

In any event, this off topic post makes no real sense and is mostly head canon..lol

Hmm, when I watch the path this discussion took over the last two pages, I am counting down to lockdown.

We all stated very explicitly what we thought of Seivals quirky interpretation, and I guess making threads about forum members is somehow against the board rules.

This idea from the GITS: Innocence... it's genius. And recently I imagined - what if the Catalyst would say something like that?...

...Well, actually it said something like that, but differently. A Reaper is not just a harvester made of harvested lives. It is also a storage of colossal memory systems. Contained essence of life... in other words - preserved life. This means the Catalyst preserved life in each Cycle in two ways: made sure the new life will flourish, and the harvested lives were not wasted.

To be harvested by the Reapers is not to be killed.
The essence of Harvested people is still alive, preserved in the Reaper form.
Killing a Reaper is a crime. Crime equal to the genocide. And total disrespect of the ones who came before us.

The argument relies on a hypothetical. That word IF is rather important, do not overlook it.

On my tax forms, I claim that the lasers are for charity for the deductions.

And that everyone you harvest are now 'independants'? With those savings, that'll definitely help with the cred chit bills.

I believe you mean dependents?

Considering the entire continent of Europe falls under dependency status as a Reaper...

Thank you for bringing the error to my attention.

Haha, I was gonna say the same. W_S is just weird. If he's been insulting that flew right over my head. (I console myself that it's the language barrier and not my lack of intelligence.) There's no rule against confusing people, I suppose.

Even if we were to agree with you, what about the billions who were killed without being harvested?  Was their essense preserved?   The little boy you met in the duct in Vancouver, who boarded a shuttle and died?

And what about the millions (billions?) of beings who were transformed into banshees/brutes/ravagers/husks/collectors/mauraders/cannibals.  Is a banshee the same person she was before?   If you became a husk, would you still be Seival?

Youthink those are deadly lasers being fired from the Reapers, but they're actually Ascension lasers.
