Destroyers: Would this have been an acceptable option?

are you serious? I wouldn't sacrifice DIANA ALLERS for the geth
Really see I have a problem with that I like the Geth hell I like them better than there creators especially since there creators attacked the geth first and then they complain when the Geth fight back I mean come on did they exspect them to just roll over and die who would do that then creators attack again before Mass Effect 3. Then they actually exspect me to have sympathy for them yeah I don't think so they started it so they shouldn't complain when the Geth fight back so I would sacrifice the creators over the Geth well minus Tali that is I liked her.

I do consider the Geth guilty for choosing to submit to and therefore join the reapers... and I don't consider them truly "alive", but they became as close as a valid form of life as they could be. It's rather complicated.
In the end I would probably save my crew, because I'm weak and I care too much about them.

No because that is not what the story was about. It negates everything. It still rips everything away without any type of closure. The story was about friendship and relationships, and that ending still suddenly rips those away from you. Friendships you held close for five years. It is therefore unacceptable.

No, that's little more than trading one genocide for another.
Only if Normandy crew counts as a people group. I clarified my numbers. About ten percent of your allies die.

Hmm what is the best way to put this?....HELL NO.
Besides, I only lose EDI in Destroy ending. Lose 1 to save many? That is acceptable. Too bad for the Reapers I don't approve of their methods, their reason for being created, or anything at all about them, I may have considered control.

If we sacrifice more than one group of allies including the normandy, we might as well call it refuse.

Is this based on that idea of blowing the Citadel Relay and so nuking Earth and the assembled Reaper fleet?
Anyway, yes. My Sheps consider themselves, and their fellow soldiers, expendable if necessary.
But most of them would pick Control first anyway.

I pick the option that destroys the reapers. The rest of the rules is dictated by the Catalyst. So the answer is yes, it is acceptable.
In your scenario, no species as a whole is wiped out, yes? Then I would prefer it to what we got.
