I read it and rolled my eyes, same tripe as per usual. As someone who has had to study Law, many of the "rule of law points" made me cringe. If you want to get into the specifics of family law cases and discrimination this is going to be a very. very long lecture.

Oh there are several problems with family law, and some of them do negatively impact men and fathers, but that again can be traised to the archaic notion that childrearing is a woman's job, which is again something "we feminists" aren't exactly championing for. But again, those problems aren't exclusive to men: did you know that in 31 states rapists can sue for custody rights? Also, if I remember correctly, most divorced couples end up with joint custody arrangements, don't they?

Also I fail to see what this has to do with the fact that the definition of patriarchy isn't "all men are bad" as you seemed to understand it.

When did I say all men are bad? How did it come to that? I said that society's various strata are inherrently biased towards men, if there is a patriachy, which I've been explaining that in general they're really not. If we're going to do this we'll do it properly.

Right, so the bias against men, who actually may want and do lobby to see their children, and are required to pay child support is patriarchy at work? If such bias that existed where men were are de facto given superiority, prefrence or benefits, why the hell are we making life more difficult for ourselves as men?

I think that the custody suits has more to do with your screwed up legal system and such concepts of unlimited duty of care within that legal system. That will never happen here.

I often made bad joke about man asses .
Yeah His joke was lame.Like not really funny.
And that's it.

But It annoyed me a great deal when I read the comments.
I'm a feminist , when I was a teen the idea of feminism was BE a Fuc*** Amazone , the world is full of possibilities , don't listen to people who lecture you about who you should be and how you should behave.
It was really empowering .

And now I look at this and it's like let's get on an internet crusade for a sexist faux pas.
That's just ...yeah...

And it's not like there is no issue , women are victim of violence ...it's reality and not just TV.
There's freaking lots of rapes , there is more unemployed , uneducated women .
There is still some country where girls can't get to schools and where woman rights are in danger.
Just look at the porn industry today , and I think most boys in a couple of years will forget that female orgasm is actually something that exist .

I mean a couple of months ago , a girl got cyberbullied , and killed herself.
Her problem started because she post a picture of her breasts.
When she died some people created a facebook page , cheering up because she was a **** and deserved to die.

There's also a girl in the US that got raped at a party , people post pictures and brag about it.
She was passed out , peed on , and raped.
If you believe some people on the net , it was ok because she was sexually active (aka a "****") so that wasn't really a rape...

I mean it's not that men don't get raped , or nothing bad ever happens to them ...most men don't report sexual abuse because they are too ashamed.
Beside there is a real stygma of women sexuality even in educated country.

Anyway there is a lot of things that can be corrected ,and if men could please stop acting like we're about to take your toys or cut your private parts...

What I was trying to say there's a world of difference between politically correct and pain and problems.
