I'll concede to you on Wynne, but I am referring to before the abomination
part takes hold. There are mages who resist due to a moral code that prevents
them from giving in so easily. Some may avoid it out of fear, others due to
stubborness-but all in all it depends on the person.
Simply saying Morality has little impact on an abomination is true, but it does
impact the mage. In my eyes, a mage and an abomination are not one and the same, (though
uldred seems to be a different excuse altogether) The mage is locked out while
the demon has it's fun. The mage is not to blame for the actions of the demon.
But they are culpable for allowing it control.
They do not all give in, they do not all crave power.
Once again it comes down to willingness. The mages themselves are often
shown backed into a corner when they break out the abomination transformation.
It's not because they want to become such.
