Hi

When I take a screenshot all I get is a completely grey image in my gallery, the same goes for the images that are supposed to appear when viewing saved games. Any idea why this is so? Thanks for any help or insight that can be offered.

I also have been getting this problem recently, as I haven't had this problem before the last time I played two weeks ago.

Make sure that your Documents name is correct.

It should be "My Documents", of course.

Figured out what was causing mine to happen. Basically taken screenshots with SLI enabled creates blank screenshots if screen is moving around to fast. Or at least it does with 8800GTS SLI with the latest driver.

I didn't have this problem before because I had forgotten I had disabled the SLI for an older game. P-:

Just had a look in my screenshot folder and there all the images appear fine. It's just ingame that they all show up as grey it seems. Can't figure out if its a setting I have and if so which one...

Same over here, at least 5 different people I know here who own this game all have this problem. It's not just in the screenshots section, it's also in the load menu. I even formatted my hard disk (due to other reasons) and installed Windows 7 and the problem persists. I do have an SLI-ready 8800GT, but I don't believe the SLI is active because I only have 1 GPU (or is it active by default?)

Anyway, how is it possible to check the SLI status and disable it if needed?

Well you can check if SLI is enabled either through the right click context menu 'Nvidia Control Panel' or navigate to the Start Menu section Control Panel and click the 'Nvidia Control Panel' icon there. In the 'Select a task...' window there will  be a menu listing '3D Settings' and from there will be a sublisting of 'Set SLI and PhysX configuration'. When installing the new drivers it will be set at the default 'Do not use SLI', so I don't think your problem was as mine.

Still would like to know why it does that for when I do have SLI set though.

Even with the newest driver installed and no SLI the problem persists.

Hello
If the screenshots appear grey in-game, although they appear correctly in your personal Dragon Age folder, that's because of the spelling of the name of your Windows session : if it contains some non-english characters (like accents), your screenshots will appear grey in game. It seems the game then cannot access your screenshots folder.
My Windows session name has an accent ; I checked with another session which name only holds "regular" characters, and the screenshots indeed appear correctly.

Bumping, just noticed the last reply now, sorry for the delay...
Well, indeed my Windows language is Hebrew, and as such all of the letters are Hebrew letters (not even Latin ones). I suspected this problem had something to do with the OS' language, seeing as all my friends have Hebrew Windows versions as well, and this problem occured in all of their computers.
I also suspect this prevents proper upload of character data from the game to the website, because these 2 problems are common to all of our computers. None of us was able to see his screenshots OR upload any character data to the website besides achievements even though we use different ISPs and routers and the ports for the game are always open.

Bioware / EA! Your attention is required here, since it shouldn't be that hard to fix this problem, and discriminating between users using different language OS than English is not a way to repay your loyal customers...
Please do your best to attend to this problem in your next update, because otherwise, the game works flawlessly for us, and it really damages the website and game usage experience for anyone whose OS isn't English, and there are lots of people like that!

Thanks
