Did mine on my SI with a javelin. It wasn't winning any awards for speed, but I got through it more or less safely. An inconvenient hack and 2 objectives on my second gold solo was nothing pleasant though :/

First attempt was krogard/glacier/geth, and it went allright.
Second failed at wave 7.
Third attempt batguard/vancouver/geth, and then it was done. Time was awful for both solos, but I thought it was better to play it safe.
Planning to do Asari Huntress and Geth trooper solos at some point.

First try was failure (cerberus, phantom instakilled me). Krogan soldier, harrier 2. Grenade gear, inc ammo 4, cyclonic 4, AR amp 3
Next 2 try was succeed (geth). Krosold, harrier 2, cryo ammo, grenade ger, cyclonic 4, AR amp 3
Each game took an hour...

That was before the Repair Matrix nerf. Second try, same map, same kit. No cyclonic mods. I think the second took 81 minutes. I was reaaaallly playing it defensively.

Did two Platinum solos, one with a Volus Adept, and one with a Turian Cabal, and i'm going to be doing another one soon with the Volus VanGOD.

Bronce & silver solos were done some months ago. Just finished the 2 gold solos without the last week after 5 failed attempts with different serups/maps. They took a lot of time to complete as I was very cautious and kited alot. 1st one was Geth on Reactor Hazard. Used batsol with Lancer 1. Second one was same Map/faction but with the TGI and the Lancer. Thought I would be faster with the TGI but I wasn't. If I would want to try to solo platinum, I will wait until I have a better manifest.
Now, that the challenge is done, i will propably only do more solos to try to get better with other characters and do better on other Maps/against other factions.

First gold solo was with a GT with flamer and acolyte, but I didn't make it to the EZ in time because I was such a slowpoke. After that I did one with the Claymore AIU and one with the PPR Juggernaut (didn't like it though, he's slow even with Adrenaline III). Then I did my first plat solo with the flamer GT and finished the silver solo challenge for Lone Wolf.

Juggernaught on Dagger vs Cerberus. 3 attempts on gold (1st one lost connection to server after completing objective on wave 10) 53 & 49 mins.

It was challenging and suspenseful to see if I would make it.

Build was on HP and damage reduction and a juggernaught shield IV, strength enhancer, crusader with omni blade V, and shield boost III

20-22 minute novaguard solos. Oh, and one Geth kroguard gold solo after raging about getting sync-killed by phantom BS on Wave 11.  So I ended up with one superfluous solo, but the Reegar made it all better.

Same here. First attempt, used a few consumables on the second gold game, but that was me being stupid and not kiting properly.

I didn't realize how bad staggerlock could be when you have 4 bombers, 2 hunters, and a Geth Prime + combat drone constantly firing at you.

I've been trying that combo and indeed, getting staggered all the time doesn't half take the fun out of the Jugg,  Not been successful as yet...

I first tested the waters with a Kroguard vs. Geth on Glacier on Gold.


Then I did a Turian Soldier w/ a revenant on firebase white versus Geth Gold. It wasn't very fun at all even with maxed out consumables.

It's killing me that everyone is saying this is "sooo easy..." I must monumentally suck if that's the case but I'm just not sure how I will get that much better. I don't have my UR's to lvl 10 (heck most are at II or III) I have most of my gears to lvl V, and IV amps... but still.. stuff kills me pretty quickly! I've watched the videos.. I've read the forums, I'm accumulating the kit.. over 900 games completed... and still soloing is NO WHERE near in my cards... yes with a Kroguard I've survived whole matches with a team of 4 and not get 'downed' (sometimes) but that's with 3 other guns.. I've even clutched the end of a wave 2-3 times... but how the bleep does one do ALL of it by themselves? I've read all the tips.. and still... Nope.. I have one LEGIT bronze solo.. and was just finishing the objectve on a wave 10 solo (bronze) when a phantom synced me... What must I do.. and LOL'zzz at the Platinum solos... I barely lasted 15 seconds into the first wave on Platinum last night (was on a Havoc with 7 stim packs)..

If you're intent on facing the geth again, use the krolord if you have him. I have done a ton of successful gold solos with him. Giant is a good map for him cause you can play ring around the rosie with them by the boxes near the LZ ladder. Biotic hammer wipes the floor with them. Constant double kills and the occasional triple.
