Ok, ok... I like the way he moves, I like building one kickass male hero for me.

Mostly to roleplay. I often play as female protagonists since I'm not a big fan of the typical straight, white males saving the world. Although I rarely play as female protagonists in Bioware games. The only female files I have are wardens and Hawke, no Shep.

I thought Turian Ghost was asking why would anyone use female Shepard since he didn't like her voice acting! I tried playing through with a male Shepard and found his voice acting monotone, so I guess I'm the reverse of Turian Ghost - why would you use a male Shepard?

Because I've played as Mr One Man Army Alpha Male, in more games than I care to remember, so playing as a Female character can be a refreshing break from the norm now and again.

Plus most of the games I've played that offer a female character option also feature a 3rd person mode so...

So u say there are to much male space Marines I can only name 2 others Master Chief and Marcus Fenix. Anyway I made a male character first then a female character second in fallout 3 and newvegas and the elder scrolls games.

 Because most are perverted teens or fruit cakes. Femshep sounds monotone and boring she has no emotion at all and sounds masculine. Male Shepard sounds better. Also male protagonist are more badass

The concept of the "space marine" dates back to the 1930s. In gaming, it dates back to 1977.

Largely because I do not roleplay myself. I roleplay characters, and pretty well like both Female and Male Shepard Equally. (Though my two favorite Sheps are female)

because of traynor? The romance with Traynor is for no lives who think lesbians are so HAWT yeah they are hot but just Cruz of Traynor is a retarded reason. Even I romance Tali which is probably the best romance in ME3
