I do not trust you haters anymore. Just finished Omega. Why omega is bad whereas LOTSB is great again?

Having read all the arguments against it in the first place i exprienced something way different that what you hating guys appeared it to be. Stop hating please.
Omega is combat heavy but so was LOTSB!
Omega is as lentghty as LOTSB.
Omega has more dialogue and CHOICES than LOTSB.
Omega has MORE meaningful chocies than LOTSB, Aria can be influenced by ALL your previous dialogue!!!
Nyreen was great!!!
The layout of the levels is superb!!! Bioware montreal gained my loyalty!!!
####SPOILER####
Her Death was not stupid at all! what have i been reading in here all this time!!!! it made sense (same as thane's if you pay attetenion to the story-scenes) , did you actually see that she protected the civilians or no??
####SPOILER END####
I am amazed at the complaints here all the time! Omega left me speachless, it is on par with LOTSB but for the sake of hating Me3 (as if that shallow terrible game named Skyrim is any better) some bashed it.

I love you for saying that. i do man.Morocco Mole wrote...
You'll notice that BSN is very hypocritical when it comes to ME3. Especially when you realize LotSB has every single thing in it that everyone reviles about ME3
Some justice. Replaying Me3 with all the DLC makes me want to bang my head on a wall for saying it was a bad game not so long ago.
Some ll say i pay lots of money, well yeah but at least the Me3 offers me more tahn 80 hours everytime i play it.

Omega wasn't a bad DLC. But it wasn't worth $15. Felt like I was helping pay off the cost of EC ro something

Can you tell me (supposed you did play omega and LOTSB) what you think was bad on omega DLC apart from the price? Also what did LOTSB did better?

For $15 I'd expect a more interesting movie.
But then, I don't go to the movies as much as I used to

Really? i've seen a LOT of liara fans, and as LotSB is focused on Liara, it's fair to say that they could be blinded to any problems.

Fair enough. But you needn't answer as you obviously do not hate omega while praising LOTSB.KaiserShep wrote...
This is all a matter of opinion, but I disagree completely that Omega is on par with LotSB. As long and as detailed the environments of Omega are, it just didn't feel as fun to play as the other. It helps a great deal that there's more meaningful interaction with Liara than there is with both Nyreen and Aria. It ALSO helps that Lair also had what I felt to be better boss battles along with more interesting locations. I don't hate Omega, in fact I do replay it every time I replay ME3, but in the end, the Shadow Broker mission feels more satisfying in its climax and epilogue than Omega by a huge margin, and I think that's really where Omega shows its weakest point. Oleg disappears and turns into a few WA points afterwards, and it doesn't become a new location we can go back to afterwards (especially since Aria just comes right back to the Citadel afterward). For $15, that's not a whole lot to ask.

Have you seen the "Liara's plot armor" or "Liara is the worst shadow broker ever" style threads? I ve seen many of them.tickle267 wrote...

I for once do not hate any character. I would not play Me at all if i hated such basic characters.

F'sho. If LotSB didn't focus on my favourite character, I'd be a lot more critical of it. As it is, it's my second favourite DLC, with Omega somewhere near--but not at--the bottom of the list.tickle267 wrote...

I usually care more about story and characters than gameplay, and LotSB had a more enjoyable story and more engaging characters than Omega did. Sure, there's a decent roleplaying element to it with Aria's reaction to your choices, and there's just as much combat, but overall, for the price I paid, I thought it was stale.ioannisdenton wrote...

As for Omega, I believe that it did not live up to its full potential. At least the weapons and powers elements were nice though. I also disagree with many when they refer to it as a "do nothing but shoot-'em-up" DLC.

I hate Omega while praising LOTSB because of these following reasons...
-LOTSB's pacing felt far better, due to its shorter length, it was as long as it needed to be. Omega just drags on forever, partly due to its excessive amount of combat sequences.
- Aria's voice actor sounds bored out of her mind. A rather bad thing when your DLC is more or less based around said character.
- Nyreen was a terriblly boring character. Whose death was rather anticlimactic.
- Oleg was a dull Bond villain (like the SB), while Tela Vasir was decent and enjoyable. Plus both boss battles in LOTSB are great, unlike those in Omega.
- The conversations with Aria were simply not very interesting and felt like they repeated themselves. As a result, the meat of the story was simply uninteresting. The ending was poor and left alot to be desired.
