I do not trust you haters anymore. Just finished Omega. Why omega is bad whereas LOTSB is great again?

LOTSB had story behind it. Finding Feros, taking down the shadow broker, you also wondered around doing other things. In Omega you just fight wave after wave after wave of Cerberus drones for no reason. Like taking back Omega didn't help at all. Didn't stop Cerberus, didn't add anything except a few numbers.
In LotSB you fight wave after wave of shadowbroker thugs in corridors and then Liara becoming Shadowbroker doesn't add anything anyway

At $10 and with some of the technical and narrative wrinkles ironed out, I'd probably agree with you.

There are decent ideas in Omega, and the gameplay itself isn't bad. However, it's unpolished, overpriced, and lacking in personality and subtlety.

And with Dragoons added.

ME3 has a multiplayer where you can have all the combat you want and more. ME2 did not.ioannisdenton wrote...
Omega is combat heavy but so was LOTSB!
Size has nothing to do with quality. Moreover, Citadel is twice as long but with the same price.Omega is as lentghty as LOTSB.
Those choices don't mean a thing. It has zero effect on the rest of the game. No character, not even Aria herself, acknowledge the fact that you even played this DLC after you leave Omega.Omega has more dialogue and CHOICES than LOTSB.
Don't care. I don't want to influence Aria because she's not my friend or even my colleague. If she can help me with the war great, otherwise I'd rather she stay out of my way. I have no time to help fixing her mess.Omega has MORE meaningful chocies than LOTSB, Aria can be influenced by ALL your previous dialogue!!!
No she's a useless pathetic piece of baggage that needs to be dropped asap.Nyreen was great!!!
Yeah they make good shooters. The layout of the levels is superb!!! Bioware montreal gained my loyalty!!!
Agreed. Her death is not stupid. It makes perfect sense. She is stupid and needs to die.Her Death was not stupid at all!

I am not arguing on what Dlc is better. It is the discrimination and the bias.
Well, you are going to get an argument on which DLC is better. You asked why people hate Omega, but love LotSB when they have so many similarities so people are going to tell you why they think one is better over the other. Whether it is the execution of said DLC or the characters, bugs, price tag, etc. Just like I did.

This is dumb.

Omega was overpriced, I'll agree. But it isn't like LotSB also had a ridicilous pricejump

It isn't like ME2 acknowledged LotSB outside of its own bubble either.

Change Aria with Liara
No she's a useless pathetic piece of baggage that needs to be dropped asap.
Liara
Yeah they make good shooters.
Yet still have more RPG elements than ME2.
Agreed. Her death is not stupid. She is stupid and needs to die.
Liara

$15 is a bit overpriced for what you get out of it though. $10 would be reasonable.

To be fair on this point, the issue with Omega is not just Aria's mess, since it does involve Cerberus, and their experimentation on more reaper monsters. Of course, skipping this DLC won't get you much of anything, but from a narrative point of view, your mission is to stop Cerberus strongholds throughout the galaxy as well as fight reapers.

Liara is actually loyal to Shepard (more than anyone, to a degree that's creepy to some), unlike Aria who's just a self-serving b!tch, or Nyreen who's just some random confused volunteer worker of the same category as Mordin's assistant Daniel.
Also, Liara puts out (spectacularly, I might add). Neither Aria nor Nyreen does that.

I actually do believe if Omega had a romance subplot that most of you would be all over it with praise.

The only romance I want with Aria involves Kai Leng (and of course, his sword), not Shepard.I actually do believe if Omega had a romance subplot that most of you would be all over it with praise.

Well, I would not be one of those people. I don't really like Aria and I think Nyreen is an interesting person, but not enough to want to romance her.

Omega is not my favorite dlc, but it's a quite entertaining and enjoyable one. Also it was the same thing what you say that came to my mind when I first played it: Omega is pretty much ME3's LoTSB. I do not feel that big of a difference between the two quality and genre-wise either. Actually I like Omega a bit better. (Plus I never liked Liara as a character).

One of my fav characters of the trilogy tho, shes pretty much like a child of Demoltion Man and Auntie Entity from Mad Max. Too bad she cant be recruited. Would get her in my squad for the banters alone.
