She looks better when she keeps her mouth shut... as in her lips don't look deformed when mouth shut. So I just have to make sure she doesn't speak in game for me to like her appearence is seems.

Ok, so what I got from this trailer was:
Morrigan, Varric and Cassandra are pretty significant
a Seekers vs. Wardens war starts(or something like that)
obviously, the mage/templar war is also a part of the game, we knew that already
there are still darkspawn in this game(and they look so much better than DA2)
the Veil gets torn and there are many many many demons
The Qunari start putting their world domination plan into action
realize that you have to save the world(if you so choose) from all that and more(because as I see it, Flemeth IS going to be important. I always saw her as someone working from the shadows on all sides...kind of like Fen'Harel)....like our good friend Varric would say: well, s**t.
I kind of see some characters dying throughout this game...well, maybe a few, maybe a lot. And it's all going to change, depending on how we play it. At least, that's what I think.
Somehow, even though I hate good people dying, I feel it's necessary. I mean, it wouldn't be an "apocalypse" if no one died.
Anyway, these are just my musings. I don't really need people to start arguing with me. I just wanted to share my thoughts,

Exactly! You hit it right on the head. As bad arse as Hawke is, Ave NEVER backed down, she was a rock and her death would symbolize the fall of all that we hold good in DA.

Varric looks really good. Cassandra doesn't look...well. No comment.

Now Morrigan...looks super derpy and weird and nothing like her DA:O self. I approve of this because it suits a swamp witch more and it suits her personality more. Good job BioWare <:

They're not going to reveal a major death in the first trailer. It was just a generic corpse to represent the casualties going down in Thedas.

I think that the corpse is Merrill's. He was closer to her than he was to Aveline, and he looks pretty affected by the death of whoever it was. Not that he wouldn't be if it was Aveline, but-- Okay, I'm rambling. And, it looks like the Veil was torn. o:

Or Isabela's tbh. because Varric , companion wise, was close with Isabela and Merril.
But the frame of the body looks like a human frame, not tiny like a Elf frame though.
I'm going too assume it was someone Varric knows/knew, a random body made it too give us this speculation and drive ourselves up the wall, Hawke, or a female companion. It could also be a male companion too. Varric can show just as much compassion to either gender anyways.

In all, I think that it might be Hawke, if it's not a random body staged. But I think if it was Hawke, that the corpse was after a battle, and that's what they shown.

I absolutely agree....I looked really close at that frame and it looked more like a feminine body. I have a feeling it was Aveline esp since it looked like a big battle aftermath.

I'd expect a shake of the head with any of the male companions as in "why why did you bring this onto yourself" because they likely ended up there due to their actions/stubborness. The female companions, however, really had no direct stake in the Mage/Templar was, making their deaths all the more tragic for the fact that they had to be dragged into it. 

So either female companion, or a hawke.

Well either way, if thats one of Hawkes companions or Hawke herself, thats pretty bad tbh.
They should give whatever companion or Hawke a honorable death. Not some b.s. battle that we didn't even see.
I don't mind my Hawke dying, but I will be dissapointed if Bioware takes a route where we can't even see OUR characters death.
Although this is speculation and we won't know unless confirmed or until we play the game.
But I am going to look at the trailer again and again until I drive myself mad, making sure that wasn't Aveline or my Hawke.

There was no battle. There were a handful of bodies tied up in sackcloth. It was a sacrifice or prisoner transport or kidnapping, etc. Varric may have known who was in the bags, but the way they were tied up, those bagged characters had no chance of anything.

I watched the trailer 3 times and WHOA Morrigan looks freaking AMAZING! Literally got goosebumps watching it. (Thanks for the link)

D'Arvit, you're right. More than anyone else in DAII (except perhaps Varric), she's the rock character, the one who keeps things stable, and everyone else safe. If she dies, and Varric's left worn and tired, it really shows how much things have broken down.

Okay, so I'm still kinda on the fence about the trailer, mostly because the release date being so far away dampened my mood considerably.
But here is what the trailer tells me:

- I don't mind Varric's look. It just might take some getting used to. He might be a companion again, which I whole-heartedly approve of. (Just make him romanceable this time. Please.)
- The body he was kneeling over was clearly female (you can see da boobies), but I don't think it's a particular character.
- My biggest worry for him is that they might pull an Anders. Please don't let him become all dark and emo. I want him back in all his snarky and charming glory.
- Apparently Cassandra declares war on the Wardens? This makes me doubt that she'll be a companion. Maybe just an important NPC. (Nooooo)
- Her face looks fine. Very pretty and I like the slight hair change. Though she seems to look considerably younger, which I'm not quite content with.
- That Qunari we saw...Iron Bull? Seems to fit the description. It could be Arishok!Sten as well.
- The weather effects look amazing.
- Morrigan doesn't look bad, really. She's just gotten older. Though she does look a lot like Lulu, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Lulu was badass.
- But it hurts to have Morrigan in the game without being able to romance her. I'm still waiting for the day my female protagonist gets a shot at her.
- I would have liked a look at the protagonist.
- Actually, I would have liked a bit more concrete information in general.
- I'm a bit sad that we didn't really get a look at any new characters, aside from the Qunari. I would have liked someone new to speculate on.

By the Maker, I hope we get some more information soon. I won't be able to handle another few months of begging for scraps.

It looks like a lose-lose situation. OGB can´t do anything world changing during the game because it would differ for the others players. And I dont see BW pulling a Witcher 2 at all,  less with a choice from a past game
