Nice catch. Now that I look closely, it even says "The Empire of Orlais" on it.Gealunn wrote...

True, but that wouldn't be quite...fair. In a way, to rule out those who played Male Hawke, and for those who played FemHawke.FDrage wrote...

Right. So I'm thinking it's someone Varric knew, or a companion of Hawkes. I'm not guessing it's Hawke anymore, because then what about Male Hawke?
They could have "imported" a female Hawke DA2 ?

Morrigan and Varric look great.
Could somebody please type what Morrigan says? English isn't my first language so I don't understand it quite right.

Maybe, look closely and it says The Empire Of Orlais, so I can see thats where THAT battle is taking place at.

Any was symboles attached to each "camp" ... maybe signifying which "faction" is positioned were ?
[/quote]
Probably, looks like the Seekers symbol in the upper left corner but the one in the middle, not a gryffon (griffon?) Maybe its some kind of Templar or Mage symbol... Not quite sure.

Well yeah...it'd be unfair either way no matter what they did. I've heard a lot of the Devs prefer playing as a female protagonist, so maybe they just imported their female protagonist into it and didn't think anyone would care enough to nitpick that throughly.

It wouldn't surprise me if the other one was a book by Varric, given Cassandra's interest in Hawke and associates. It might be she's got it ostensibly for "research".
Oddly enough, the book ON the map (the one with the skull sitting on top of it) looks like the back of the 3.5e DMG to me.

With the bodies wraped in some line cloth and bound with ropes (at least that way it looked like in the trailer) it is probably quite likely that way ...

Female Hawke in the sack, Aveline, Merril, Isabela.. unless thats what they were looking for, then by all means they win everything because thats what its caused.

DA2 was a rushed mess, but still not a "bad" game, just not the standard BW quality. ME3 was a rushed mess w/ moments of greatness and moments of WTF.

I was hoping for Fall 2014 since DA2 came out. So i'm delighted by that.

I've seen more of this war than you can imagine.
None shall be untouched by the fires above.
Faith...lies in ashes.
Our fragile alliances...crumble to dust...
as this world...is torn asunder!
Darkness closes in.
Will you stand against it? Or leave this world to its bitter end?

It would be funny to have that option and get a special Game Over screen. Arkham City did it after all.
