Besides, they could just do the same thing with Mass Effect's DLC, where events transpire worse because your character wasn't involved.

Then when I heard FALL 2014 I just sunk into a pit of depression.. Just thinking: I was going to play a lot of DA this summer so I would hype for inquisition. Clearly that's not thecase anymore

They didn't hint at anything, they explicitly said as recently as a few weeks ago that calendar 2013 was the release window.

But everytime we got some little news about Dragon Age it made it sound like it would come earlier. Not that it would be a one and a freaking half years of wait. They could've come out with this info a little before E3. Now I'm all depressed

The camps on the map in order (left-to-right at the top): Mages crest, Warden's Legacy griffin statue (with a really big cup), Inquisition (it have the sword through the sunburst as opposed to just a sunburst).

The funky helmet wearing soldiers are also wearing Inquisitor armor (you can see the symbol on some shot depending on the light). Cassandra is wearing one of the armor from the followers customization blog as well (the black leather armor one with Inquisitor tabbar). I will add that this armor looks way better in the trailer than in 2d.

I can't quite place my finger on why, but that trailer left me cold. Seemed a bit "generic epic fantasy battle," even though it showed plenty of Thedas-specific things. Bah, maybe I'll watch it again tomorrow and it'll look awesome.

I hear it's a really good DLC, I've watched a lot of it on Youtube, but never gotten it. Either for DA:2 dlc or Mass Effect DLC.
My money is tight at the moment, I'm saving for a better PC so I can join the master race. xD

& Ugh I forgot about how Bioware did that. I have a couple of the DLCS on Origins, Return to Ostagar, but I don't have the "important" ones like Witch Hunt or Awakening. But neither of them seemed to have an impact on DA:2.

OH I'M GOING TO PRAY ALRIGHT! But still.. Really depressing to know i'll be without my Dragon age a year and a half  . Please make it worthwhile.. I just can't be excited know .. how depressing , I feel so emo haha

I can't believe this - I only just remembered about the E3 reveal! I got kotor (ipad) on the weekend to tide me over until Monday and I've been on such a binge that I completely forgot about the whole thing!

So I've just seen the trailer and I think it looks amazing! I want to play it now....or maybe after I get the 4th star map but definitely much sooner than fall 2014....when is fall anyway? Should be spring where I am and that would make it September 2014?

Don't be depressed, be happy that Bioware gets an extra year to make this game.

Because Massively Rushed Effect 3 was depressing.

Also... dem graphics. Seeing how beautiful my waifu looks is enough to make me happy until they show some gameplay

That templar-demon-thing looked like it had been corrupted by red lyrium. Just some random thought here. The Black City part surprised me. I'd thought it would appear only in later installments, though.

I agree. Loads of game articles said that it'd be here within the late of 2013 beginning of 2014 (someone said this was not true, it is true. )  And now it has been post-poned. 
I better get some sexy Anders time for the wait.

That's probably it for this year. They have the new Mass Effect and new IP in the wings, but I doubt we'll get anything from either until 2015.

Awakening isn't that freaking long, it's only about 12 hours or 15 MAX.
