 Great trailer guys. Morrigan. Varric. Garganta Fade rift. But what happend with new Cassandra? Did she preorder XBox One before e3 or something? Even anime version looks bettah. (imo)

CGI (cinematic insertions) seems less "developed" in comparison to DAO and DA2 which I love btw (Cinematic trailers I mean). Or is it? Maybe I'm wrong and there is no cinematic CGI in this trailer and all is engine-rendered? I would love to hear the answer.

According to what I've read, it was 'in engine footage', not purely cinematics as in Destiny or Sacred ashes.

It's all In-Engine footage. It is written on the first frame of the trailer, right under the Bioware, EA and Frostbite logos.

What is next gen for you man? More polygons? DAO trailer was a pre rendered video sequence. It's tons of work.

That is indeed her best version. But she is now 10 years older and seemingly appropriately dressed for Orlais. I'm sure each and every one of us look different now to when we were 10 years younger. Morrigan in DAI is FINE.

Now Varric and especially Cassandra, that's a different story altogether. Varric to me actually looks younger and a bit "off". Cassandra is just like a different woman completely, if we only go by the face. Culprits are thicker lips than her DA2 version, but particularly the much larger jaw. No amount of aging will change your jaw in that way.

Anyway, David Gaider has already stated that, just like in previous games, characters' looks will be tweaked until release, so let's hope for the best and keep an eye on how things progress.

I'm definitely with you guys. Cassandra in DAII just looked pretty generic to me. I like her new look because she looks intimidating but still recognizable...

Well I am going to try to not come back to the site for a while..we are roughly a year and a half away from release. Not complaining, just saying the flow of information is going to be super slow up until next years E3 lol. And I am happy they are taking their time so we don't get a disaster like DA2, being told they were still on track for a 2013 release just a month or so ago put my hype meter into overdrive. And all we got was a trailer ingame or not. I kind of came crashing down to Earth to hear fall 14.

My hopes when I return are at least improved characters looks. Morrigan needs only a few adjustments, Cassandra needs a lot of help and Varric needs to borrow some of Cassandra's chin lol. Maybe some factual information like if they changed it to a FPS. I prefer third for rpg's. And maybe they can try and rival TW3 in beauty. The Keep that was getting hit by catapults looked very generic. DAO is still one of my favorite games of all time and I am looking forward to what Bioware puts forth. Groovy.

She looks too much like my Fem Hawke. For a moment I was all happy Hawke was coming back as a major part of DA3 <_<
