I admit I am starting to feel some dis appointment in the BSN fans. Seems many are so desperate for DAI to be a success, wanting a good game they're willing to simply overlook problems with the video and Morrigan's appearance. Caught me by surprise. Oh well to each his own. With the extention EA gave them they still have over a year to fix things. Shows EA really wants to save the franchise and that is good.

Ooh Good Lord. Can you leave Morrigan alone? Why are you making a mountain out of a mole hill? It's such a trivial and subjective matter. I like the way she looks, and you don't. What makes you think your opinion is more valid than mine? It's not, so give it a rest already.

It's a wonder how they can do that to her. Now I know what the Zevran romancers felt in DA2.

I agree about Zevran. They shouldn't have hit him with the ugly stick as hard. Neither Alistair either.
But Morrigan looks fine. She looks amazing. I think everyones just used to the cartoonish faces.
She looks the same as she did in the Sacred Ashes trailer. Her bangs seemed to have gotten a bit longer from 8 years. And then she has the birthmark/mole. And its on a new engine.
YES. The characters WILL look different, more human like. <_<

Is it just me or is Morrigan missing an eye under the bang?

Hmm, let me think. Maybe because her role in DAO was so important and the sole purpose of the Witch Hunt DLC was for her to spout more mysterious clues and leave you wonder what is going on with her and Flemeth? Because she voiced the trailer and was the last one we saw, thus leaving the strongest impression? Because her return was very much anticipated and people have a lot of expectations of it? Because she was a very popular companion in DAO, one most players have an opinion on, and a possible romantic interest for the Warden as well? Her role in the DA universe is much bigger and interesting than Varric's entertaining little part.

Varric plays an equally as important role in DA 2 as Morrigan plays in DA:O and enjoys the same degree of popularity with fans. Furthermore, his appearance changed much more in DA 3 than Morrigan's appearance did but people aren't zeroing in on him the way they're zeroing in on Morrigan.

TBH I never really got the Zevran and Alistair complaints either, especially not the Alistair one. People here just seem to be extremely overly sensitive to changes in graphics.

I didn't really see a problem with Varric. He looks more detailed. His hair seems to be a light brown, but thats better then his hair going gray from all the stress :lol:

As for Zevran and Alistair, I think it just shocked everyone how different they looked from Origins.
I mean, why did they get beach blonde hair? And there facial structers got tweaked.

You need to look at them pictures again. Zev and Alistair looked GOD.DAMN.AWFUL in that game.

Oh, and people discussing Morrigan more is because DA:O is the more popular, I'd argue the vastly superior game.

As to on-topic, I'm loving the DA stuff Bioware has to show on E3!

Hmmmm I rather liked DA2 Zevran. I thought he came out well, especially with the elves redesign.

Alistair was way worse imo.

The opposite for me. I almost cried when I saw Zevran for first time. He also forgets about my warden and sleeps with Izzy. Saddest 1st playthrough haha

Alistair's DA2 look didn't bother me much though.

I think Varic looks fine, you got to think that a guy with facial hair and then shaves most of the time looks younger. I know when I shave I got the baby face look everyone tells me. (now other things factor in like skin condition, size, and weight) I always thought Varic looked like Triple H from WWE and when he shaves he looks alot younger then he is.

It's not the Anderfels, it's Orlais. How many times do I have to tell people numerous times. <_<

The body looks male, and femine.
Bioware did a good job on the character, so it doesn't rule out it's male like the other trailers.
It has the body figure of FemHawke , but also a muscle like form also like MaleHawke. Very well done. ^_^

It doesn't matter where the Inquisitor is at since the teaser doesn't show what will be in the game 100%. I have a feeling it was done for two purposes: to show off what the engine can do and to obscure the Inquisitor.

And if that is Orlais then damn, they have a serious drought and famine problem. All joking aside, the Anderfels are the only place that we know thus far that is mostly desert (or the Vinmark Wasteland).

There's an arid area in the southwest of Orlais, along the Gamordan Peaks.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Inquisition tests recruits by leaving them alone in the desert to "purify" them.

I don't think so. If it's a survival test, why would they provide you with the cloak seen in the teaser?

The Western Approach is a pretty big dessert in Orlais. Right where the Abyssal Reach is situated.
