No, ragequit is what you should do with the devices.

Sure, that's what I do. No way I do that ****. But it still takes patience to try 25+ times to get a device-free game...

Agreed, the comparison is right in my opinion. As Salmon says, some solos are obviously harder than others, and that would correspond to the track being easier/harder. But going faster is always going to be harder than taking all the time you want. There is, in fact, a wall where some solos are not humanly possible to speedrun, pretty much. So you've got to choose between doing easier runs, but faster, or doing the hardest runs and taking all the time you want. It's a personal choice. I prefer to speedrun, I'd hate to take 50 mins to do a solo. But it's just me.

I agree friend^_^

... For example, there are some masochists players who like to solo platinum with the Avenger...

To each his own ;)

well OP if theres a dedicated fanbase and people who actually do the solo then you've answered your own question...as for me ^_^ i find soloing (platinum in particular) quite impressive...anyone can play this game but only a handful can successfully solo :innocent:

Indeed.

Though seriously, even if you're doing the hardest solo possible, you should always push yourself to do it as fast possible, especially if it's something you wanna share on video. (why I never post long videos anymore, nobody wants to watch that)

I've soloed plenty but I'm not a fan of it.(10 total solo golds plus I extraction wipeout)

I don't go for speed runs or anything but Kroguarding around the map is faster than some other methods that are neither more or less effective in other ways.

Several of my platinum solos are about 30k views and up with my most popular of 50k views and over 1k likes. That's pretty large for a channel of my size The larger majority of ME 3 players aren't forum members. Remember that.

Maybe it's a Drell Curse? :crying:

The Reapers know we can own their ass harder than anyone else, so they take control of the RNG to fill us with devices? :crying:

I take my hat off to people who have their Lone Wolf achievement and all the people who do all the crazy solo challenges. I know that I'll never match their level. Image IPB

And to help my self-esteem from dropping completely, I just tell myself that I'm better at other things Image IPB.

(Not being able to get Lone Wolf will be something I'll take with me when I'm on my deathbed! Image IPB)

It's not all bad though. There are 'the greats' in every area/discipline of life - gaming is no different.

I bet there isn't one person who could do a clean solo. No wallhax, spawn controls, reload cancelling. Nothing. Clean, clean run.

If I can do it, so can you. It just depends how many times you're willing to try. ;)

If those are what makes a solo clean, then I have. No wallhax is easy if you don't use anything with penetration, spawn controls if you run around like a chicken with its head cut off, and reload-cancelling if you use a weapon that doesn't benefit from it.

If kiting is "not clean" then you're just being picky.

Well, bronze...

And the only thing my Gold Solo had that is on that list was Electric Slash. I hadn't learned spawn control or reload cancelling, yet.

Of course, it also took me an hour and a half, so it wasn't exactly elite-level stuff. I'm pretty sure there are hundreds of people who could do it without Electric Slash in Half the time. So, I'm pretty sure there are probably lots who could do a "clean run," by those standards, they just choose not to.

Today I played 4 PUG Platinum matches, each was 31-33 minutes, and at that length I might as well be soloing. I couldn't believe how slow a TGI with a Harrier IX killed things.
