There is no real argument. Its semantics. What I call (I cant use the "c": word here), others call legit. What can I say?

Yeah the AI cheats. Especially the Geth. Still dont need to manipulate the game to get my monies.


Ill never be right. Neither will anyone else in this argument because it simply comes down to beliefs.

It's just a personal thing that niggles me and makes me feel inadequate. Being a team-player is definitely important, but I just think of solo vs team as the difference between the cool person who wins all the gold medals on sports day and the poor person who always comes third on the podium.

Okay, yeah - weird analogy, I know.

Anyway, I appreciate your offer of assitance but honestly I can't take you up on it. I don't mean offence or anything; it's just that I'm shy, nervous and better off doing my own thing.

For now I think I'll just have to be content being that person who always gets bronze medals and never the gold ones...

I take my hat off to people who have their Lone Wolf achievement and all the people who do all the crazy solo challenges. I know that I'll never match their level.

And to help my self-esteem from dropping completely, I just tell myself that I'm better at other things .

(Not being able to get Lone Wolf will be something I'll take with me when I'm on my deathbed! )

It's not all bad though. There are 'the greats' in every area/discipline of life - gaming is no different.

I'm with you - i've done several bronze solos now, the first was horrendous but the other 4 were easy enough. I need to move onto doing silver. But i cant see myself wanting to try gold, it just looks painful, and to some extent i just dont think i will enjoy it, and the accomplishment is not really equal to the effort involved so im happy to leave it, even tho it means i will never get BOTB. but then Im not BOTB in terms of player quality anyway.

I'm almost positive you've got the tools you need to get the Silver solos, already. But, given that the Gold ones count toward Silver as well, I'd say skip them, or maybe do one, to build your confidence.

They're not "easy" (I always get annoyed when people claim something is easy when they know that less than 1 % of people can do it) but Gold solos are more doable than people sometimes realize.

I plan on finishing my Plat solo using all-cheez: Kroguard, Acolyte, Geth. I gots no pride when it comes to solos - whatever it takes to get it done! 

If you decide it's something you want to do, I'm very sure you will be able to with perseverence - although it will be tedious and frustrating at times. The most exalted feeling I ever got playing ME 3 was seeing "Mission Successful" after Soloing Gold.

On the other hand, given how much effort can be required, I completely understand the people who don't want to bother putting themselves through it - it's not the core gameplay experience, and soloing is hardly the point of a PvE co-op game.

I defend anyone I look up to in this game. Invaderone, cain, jumpin etc... I even had the pleasure of playing with invader and his friends:). I think people are too quick to over look his contribution to this community. The comments I see about him are nothing short of good humor disrespectful

oh definitely. I did most the bronze ones with kits and weapons that i didnt like v much (so i was actually doing them to test the combination out, and then after getting past wave 3, decided to carry on to wave 11) using level 20  characters and gear but no equipment, so if i put on my favourite character and kit and level 3 stuff, im sure i can do silvers, altho they prob wont be the most graceful matches. 

I can see gold wave 6 onwards being supremely painful and looooong so its not going to be much fun, and it wont be anything to brag about either, so its just not worth spending hours on. Im already trying to restrict how much time i spend on here and xbox.
