Depends on my mood. I lean towards surviving as I dislike dying even if it's only once or twice in a game. Hence I absolutely love playing the Juggernaut.

I die quite a lot and tend to agree with you . But I try to motivate myself on surviving now to keep improving

I always use a different kit every match so it depends on which character i guess. I try to be a mix of both which is why i like the turian sentinel a lot.

Surviving. Don't get me wrong, I generally play pretty aggressively, but when the match's outcome is on the line I tend to try to play more defensively. If the match's outcome hinges on YOU (which, for any regular PUG players it usually does...), the last thing you should be doing is putting yourself at an unnecessary risk. (but being too defensive can get you killed, so do take a little bit of a risk)

At least that's what I think.

I like survival more, you can always keep pouring fire into the enemy if you're alive.

Provided that Dpad doesn;t troll you by bringing out the missile launcher instead....or activating after death. Stupid Xbox Dpad.

In a team my build is usually towards maxing damage.
If I'm soloing though I'll gladly sacrifice some damage if it means significant survivability.

Usual GI Spec - 6/6/6/6/0
Solo GI Spec - 4/6/5/5/6

Basically doing slightly less Proxy Damage, losing the sniper perk and missing out on 10% weapon damage for 1.65x the health and shields.If I'm using a sniper it's usually the Salarian with Geth Scanner.
