Cass always had the jaw. Morrigan doesn't look much different IMO, different engine, passage of time, whatever.

That big, though? But maybe it's just the camera angle or something like that. And I guess it's inevitable that characters don't look the same with a new engine, but still... it's like they are Cassandra and Morrigan and yet they're not. Sorry, I can't really explain it better.

But let's not jump to conclusions. While actual ingame footage, it was still very much a cutscene. Perhaps they look different during gameplay.

This is getting ridiculous. Especially since Varric looks virtually *identical* to his DA2 counterpart.
The ONLY person I can see anyone not being sure about was Cassandra, because she did look pretty different.

The Qunari wasn't Sten, I believe, since they've stated before that he didn't have horns. Maybe it's the Iron Bull (new companion leaked in the survey)

The Warden is the only one acceptable to deal with Morrigan.

All other unimportant stuff can be done by the... "new protagonist", whom nobody needs, however this other story should remain faithful to its roots.

Love the trailer. What a huge step up (at least it seems). Loved the feeling of dread, the castle attack, the fade tearing up the sky, Varric (who looked more badass than in DA2) and finally... the return of Morrigan. Loved the redesign of both characters. Awesome, Bioware. Just awesome.

I don't think they had the present design for the Qunari during origins. I think the design with horns came during DA2. I thought it was Sten now as an Arishok.

They were always intended to have horns, but for some reason or other, they decided not to create horned heads for Origins.

There's now a separate class of qunari who don't have horns (think of them as albinos, or some other rare genetic disorder). Sten is one of these, and will never have horns.

if Varric and Morrigan was the same as the people who appeared in the trailer,
this should be obvious, not just because of their appearance but MORRIGAN EVEN
SPEAKS directly to you towards the end of the trailer itself, so the fact that
her face has change, ever slightly, shouldn’t confuse you that much.

So I ask

The first time I watched the trailer I went "Wait? was that Varric? Was that Varric?". I went back saw Bianca, and I knew for sure. People are commenting on Morrigan's new chin. I noticed her new moles and clothes.

I didn't notice it was Varric until I saw the earrings, and then I went back and noticed the crossbow. The darker looking hair threw me off a bit.

New moles and clothes.  This made me laugh so much Vortex

But hey, at least she wears some proper clothes now.  Varric looks as badass as ever.

I dunno....I feel a little "meh" about the trailer.  While it was nice to see some returning characters, I was kinda hoping more for an ingame trailer myself, like the awakening and dragon age origins ones.  Oh well, there is a year to go......

The Kossith wasnt Sten bc the horns but my guess is Marras (sp?) that ex-Qun/ex-Tal Vashoth

The lips and eys really gave Morrigan away, I wasn't sure until I noticed her purple mouth. What an amazing trailer though. The Veil tearing up the sky was such a powerful imagery.
