DA:I looks like a retextured DA:2.

the qunari soldier looked awesome
the castle looked badass.

But... dat spiky castle
dat emo morrigan
those spiky seekers
that color palette, in general.

Can we hope for changes on that front? or is it set in stone?

It looked pretty good after I rewatched it actually. Morrigan looks abit anorectic though.

It looked good, but left me with more questions than answers. Which you kind of have to expect from a teaser trailer. Will wait for gameplay footage.
Im liking the multiple conflicts though, Thedas looks like its really going to hell in a hand basket.

The environment has colour, which is a step up from DA2. Wait for more gameplay, hopefully we can see the UI.

I thought it looked terrible. The characters vaguely look like who they are supposed to be, enough that you can guess who they are but they looked bad. Just glad I didn't have any hopes for this game in the first place.

Had such high hopes for the Dragon Age series after Origins, was such a great concept and if they kept it up with other games in the series it would have been the best video games series ever made.

It looked okay. It's a bit hard too really judge with what they showed us though. Seeing some actual gameplay footage, as in just showing a character running around the world and doing stuff, would help give a better feeling in terms of where the game's heading in art direction. I will say though that the character's faces looked a bit waxy. Also, we've still got to see what they do with the elves.

Everything looked good to me. Just didn't care for Cassandra's look and thd Qunari aren't as attractive. I'm just hoping for the best and everything turns out perfect.

Art style is fine. Morrigan has always had an "emo" look.

Love everything I saw in this trailer" The apocalyptic atmosphere, the music, Claudia Black's narration... Also don't understand the hate for the new looks. Varric look like a much more grizzled version and Morrigan is as beautiful as ever. Love the dress, hairstyle and even the mole. Great job, Bioware. Never thought you'd get me excited over Dragon Age again.

Unlike what seems like the majority of these ofrums, I have no issue with the rather minor changes to Morrigan.  Everyone should of expected characters to look different going to a new engine.  I also think its an improvement.

Her hair has gotten longer, she has gotten older and more ragged, and people are having a bit of a kneejerk reaction to what they see as the "anime-ization" of the characters.

Back on topic, I'm really digging the art style in the trailer. If they can keep characters constant from this point forward and really own the art style, I will be very happy because it is unique as well as not overly cartoonish while also not smotheringly realistic.

The only 2 parts I didn't like were how different both Cassandra and Varric looked. Morrigan actually looked better (not prettier, but better). I would like Cassandra especially to look more like her DA2 counterpart when it comes to the shape of her face.

Other than those few things I really likes the art-style. Far better than in DA2.

I think as somebody who disliked DA2's look, the trailer looked totally fine. People are looking for **** to complain about.

I get more Fable vibes from the trailer than anime.

DAO was ugly and looked like a PS2 game. DA2 made slight improvements in the color department. DAI is a step in the right direction.
