Why do you think I keep participating in discussions and seemingly taking the company's side all the time?
BioWare keeps you enrolled in their "Syrup of the month club?"

Frankly I would not be surprized that once the game is released a sizable number of fans will still be disappointed and will complain on the length of time it took to produce a ho hum game
I appologise for my cynacism but I am probably overly sensitive to the negatvity some times

I'm not complaining in the slightest. The more time the game gets the more relaxed I am. I don't want another DA2 or ME3.

Personally I have thoroughly enjoyed all the Bioware games I have played
I do find it odd that the game was anticipated for this year but now wont be out til 2014. I do wonder if this forum's timing, as it turns out, was too soon

A long dev cycle for a game is not a bad thing (especially if they can recapture the magic of old BW fantasy games). However the delay till 2014 has been known about for a while now, ever since an unfortunate slip by a Chinese dev on a social (disease) media site, so no surprise. Just as long as MiserySoft hasn't bought an exclusivity deal like Jade and Me 1... I'll sit back and wait for my PC version.

Well technically a probable slip into 2014 had been strongly hinted at for some time, but until today, Bioware refused to confirm this and iirc until today the 'unofficial' release target of Q4 2013 was still the word. Having the game slip a full year in such a short time is a bit worrisome.

Whats done is done and if they said this last week it wouldn't change anything at all. You would still be worried about it because that's your natural state. At least that's how it appears to worry about anything and everything BioWare says or does.

That might be because I no longer take what Bioware says at face value. There are reasons for this.

Was it DA:O that did it to you? Because you have not changed since then.

Don't know what you are talking about. I've always been a big fan of DAO. My skepticism really started with ME2 and DAA (and even then it was mild skepticism).

That would be an administrative nightmare to deal with. Each game has a different budget, and the shifting of personnel from one project's budget to another, and then back again, would make that sort of thing really tough to pull off.

What changed is they got a proper amount of development time to try and do the game justice. This is a good thing.
