Hi,

I just followed the wiki walkthrough to create a new class. It seems that I more or less succed because it appears in the char creation, I can select it, the strings show but not the character model.
I've tried the 3 sugestion of the wiki :
MY MODEL IS NOT SHOWING UP WHEN I GOTO MALE ==> HUMAN ==> SHAMAN ==> MAGI
  • It is very likely you did not EXPORT your default_shaman.utc model
  • Double check the background file to make sure you are using default_shaman.utc for the template
  • Try rebooting your computer.
But nothing seems to work. The default_shaman.utc is in \\\\Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\AddIns\\\\agone_base\\\\core\\\\override\\\\toolsetexport

Does anyone have an idea about something to try ?

THanks in advance,
Myline

Sorry about this post... I manage to fix my problem, the class was wrongly referenced somewhere...

One question; did you follow the tutorial as far as changing the string table entries in the module you created? At the time it was written, it was necessary to do this, but it's no longer needed as of the 1.01 toolset.

Hum yep, I followed exactly everything, just using my own class name. What was not needed ? On the module creation, there is no need to put huge numbers for the string range ? I think I've read that somewhere...

Is it something that is not needed or that must be avoided ?
