- Barrier, Biotic Hammer, Cluster Grenade and Lift Grenade are now flagged as biotic abilities.
- Electrical Hammer, Siege Pulse and Tech Armor are now flagged as tech abilities.
- Barrier: Rank 5B and Tech Armor: Rank 5A no longer apply to detonation damage.
- Enemy damage taken attributes are now properly applied to Overload.
Damage reduction was planned for the next major update, along with some other nice things, like a UI specifically for mobile devices and more localization options. However, since support for the game ended so long ago, it is about as likely to happen as another ME3 balance change.Evil Mastered wrote...
2/ Would it be possible to add an effective health/shields including DR stat underneath the normal health/shields stat?

The adas ignores armour damage mitigation like all other projectile weapons do, the bit on Cyonan's spreadsheet that says it doesn't is an error, which presumably was copied into kalence when you made it.

This is a great tool indeed. Thank you very much for all the effort. I use it all the time.
A minuscule thing I noticed: The additional "If not destroyed, shields recharge after x.xx seconds." is only present when a Shield Recharge bonus is applied. Having the base value displayed in case there is no bonus would be nice.

Thanks a lot for the tool!
I feel that it might become much more useful if you add user accounts functionality, so that people can login and store their builds. Then it's possible to let users rate builds - thus creating a catalogue of popular (but also non-traditional, too) builds for all heroes - all in one place, which, I think, would make the site even more useful, especially for novice players.

First of all thanks for your amazing builder! I loved narida but yours is simply a sweet GUI plus other great stuff.
Second of all I don't mean to necro this post since last comment was 8 months ago but since people still play this game and still use your builder so be it.
Just one little observation, don't know if it's been made already but under resistances you have bonuses and penalties listed as additives. That's perfectly fine since all your values are additive in nature, but the positive values are misrepresented.
For example, +150% damage to barriers/armor
-50% damage to shields
To be perfectly accurate the first value should be +50% damage to barriers/armor, otherwise the math says total damage is 2.5 times base which is incorrect. Another way to correct that would be to change function to multiplier for positives but that would be strange when the rest of the math on your builder is addition and subtraction. Just wanted to give you my two cents on that, otherwise this builder is a wonder of the gaming world, thanks so much for your efforts! ![]()

Let's say, for the Krogan Sentinel, he has 1388 health, and 2050 shields.
He activates Tech Armor, which is specced to have fifty percent resistance. So does this mean his health is 2,082 and his shields are at 3,075? Then he activates rage, which gives him thirty percent damage reduction, now does this mean his total health, including tech armor is at 2,498.4 and shield total is 3690?

Nope, DR is only the effective value if u R in cover. Out of cover, its divided by 1.4. So in your example the effective out of cover DR of tech armor is 35 %, same with rage.
Theres no necro problem with this kind of refferenced thread. However, Kalence will not be updated with this kind of stuff, cause both old, tedious, and case dependant : out of cover DR, cover DR ... I agree a "out of cover" health and shield pool wld be nice

No idea about OP's other contact but I am sure that he/she wouldn't mind if somebody made a backup of kalence and rehosted it somewhere else. If OP does return then the ownership could be returned to them. Kalence was so useful it would be a waste to loose it ![]()

Ouch, this got to me, "The" builder being closed down, the Kalence tool has simply reformed this game for me (Bioware should be hosting this actually).
But the issue here is that the Drupal Gardens hosting service is being closed as planned, it's not going to be resolved. An other company, Bluehost is offering migration support and hosting for Drupal Gardens customer's but does not appear to offer free hosting (I assume the Kalence builder was hosted free at the Gardens).
There appear to be some other free Drupal hosting sites though, at least Googling comes up with few hits, so the question is if SeasonedTurtle can possibly be bothered with moving Kalence?
(Whatever my helping worth I offer it.)

From what I can tell, it's just a bunch of Javascript front end. Even if we don't get the back end script, copying all the front end web pages should about reproduce Kalence for each character, IMO. At least, that's what I hope.
I haven't looked to see if it performs any AJAX calls though. Does it???

I only did a quick skim through anyway and saw that the JS has everything from powers to character classes and weapons (I think). So, to me, there seems to be zero database operations happening. Anyway, yes, best to leave it to them, but I thought to just throw this out there just in case someone wants to be chivalrous about this crisis.
