Not everyone will agree, but I don't like it. It's TOO much like DA:O Morrigan. After seeing Varric and the Qunari updated looks, I was dissapointed that she wasn't updated either. And I hate her dress; Morrigan original dress looked like something that got casually patched up in the wild, and it was awesome and unique. Now she's wearing an actual dress, as in with lace. Morrigan was attractive because she was wild and dangerous; that's not the vibe I'm getting here.

She's pushing mid thirties early fourties possibly with a ten year old kid. Why would she still be the same?

Her appearance is not realistic for someone who is 'pusing 40 and has had a kid.' At least not in faux medieval times.

Morrigan doesn't look too different to me. Different hairstyle and clothes, yeah, but any weirdness in her face stems from the fact that it's just really strange to see her pull such a big smile.

I think the same.

I agree - if this is a decade or so later, then she looks like an older and (largely) more realistic version of Morrigan. I had no trouble whatsoever figuring out that It Morrigan when I saw her, but I did think that maybe the animation was a little wonky. I also thought the pupils looked a little odd on all the characters. However, I'm largely okay with what I saw.

If their intent was to get away from pandering to "sexy" and at least attempt a more mature/serious tone - then I really like what they're doing.

Sure - there can be attractive characters - but if Morrigan has aged to become unattractive (opinion) - then so be it.

Meh she's a mage with a possible old gold child. I'd say she looks fine considering.

I like the outfit, and it's certainly better than what she had on in Origins. And if she's in Orlais, especially if she's at the empress' court, it would be ridiculous to have her walk around in her wilderness outfit.
But her face looks a little bit off, I'm not sure why. She does look older, though, which I think is a good thing considering the time that's passed since DA:O.

Not sure how I feel about the new look. Her jawline is throwing her whole face off in a bad way.

But the hair is excellent, and I love the dress. It took over a decade but she finally put some more clothes on. So there's that.

But never really was a fan of the character so as long as she isn't forced on me again, I can deal with her looking a little off.

It's the benefit of being apart of DAII.  You lose the ability to age over years.

She looks like Penelope Cruz, which I think is ugly. The nose needs to be not so pointed downward, The bottom lip needs to be bigger and the mouth not so wide, then her smile wouldn't be a horses arse.

I thought she looked good. Different, of course, but that isn't unexpected considering the time that has passed. As for the outfit, it still looks Morrigan-like, imo. Not as wild, but it is still true to her and since it's quite possible that she's changed over the years and maybe moved into a city, it's not that much of a stretch to have her wear more city-like clothing.

I would love for her to have a wrinkle or two, and a non-hour glass body. Perhaps more of a pear shape.
Too much to ask, I know. These are the kind of things that would make her untouchable, vomit-inducing, and would make her fans burn the BSN to the ground.
