I would love for her to have a wrinkle or two, and a non-hour glass body. Perhaps more of a pear shape.
Too much to ask, I know. These are the kind of things that would make her untouchable, vomit-inducing, and would make her fans burn the BSN to the ground.

Congratulations, I now hate you! :)

it's kinda funny the thread about morrigan's dress is bigger then the one about the trailer as a whole. then again it is a nice dress.

Morri is clearly the most important part of the trailer. Her return was the only new  thing we really learned. :wizard:

I think she looks great. Loved the trailer even though it told me very little about the overall plot.

Good start, BioWare.

I know a woman who has two children, and she's like 5'5'' and undoubtedly less than 100 pounds. The body doesn't HAVE to change all that drastically.

And I'd really rather not think about that.

Supermodels and movie stars disagree with this.

Anyhow, I love Morrigan's new look. She's look even hotter, and a lot more wicked than before :) I hope she has some major role in DA:I. Wonder what become of my warden though ha ha xD He was a sucker to sexy wicked witch and finally decided to follow her through the Eluvian xD Foolish guy =))

I'm pretty sure Hawke killed the closest thing Thedas had to a plastic surgeon after his mom had some work done.

It's a shame that women aren't allowed to age.
How do you think a man her age would have looked in the trailer?  (Assuming Morrigan actually is 'pushing 40')

Could do with a wrinkle or two seeing she is a mother closing in on 40.

Overall though I really don't mind it. Go figure.

Like Varric?  They would be around the same age wouldn't they?

Well it's a new engine, I think they did good especially if this is how she will look in-game.

She'd better be party member.

*facepalm* This is in-game engine. This is the true power of the Frostbite 3.

I'm a fan and I wouldn't complain about it if she would look like you describe. Then again, it is possible that she looks like that and has just used a bit of magic to change her apperance. Not by blood perhaps, but she is her mother's daughter after all. ;-)

The only problem i see in her jaw is when she talks.

But it seens to have some bad illumination/reflex on the area that make it worst, specially on her left side.

The fancier dress, maybe is because she is in Orlais? (the whole trailer is set in Orlais...)

Let's assume they are both the same age.
Look at Varric's face. He has wrinkles. He has frown lines. He has prominent bone structure.  And he still looks good.
Female faces aren't allowed to have any of these things. They must be unrealistically smooth and flawless. Plastic and fake. It doesn't have to be this way.

Like Shepard or Hawke? As in, just how they looked a few years ago?

I'm being slightly unfair there, but do you see my meaning? There is no definitive "people at 40 look like this."

Male Shepard and male Hawke have wrinkles and expression lines. Their female counterparts don't have either of those things.
I'm talking about default appearances of course.

Shep was also a zombie cyborg. I don't think him/her looking youthful at 32(In ME3) is a viable example.

Hackett v Chakwas, or Ashley v... anyone, however...

You cant really judge her that much I mean come on depending on what you did in daO She has had a kid come on and she is older. Frostbite3 looks good on her though

Looks good? Looks amazing, looks stunning, looks incredible, looks realistic. C'mon, we're talking about one of the most powerful engines out there, created by Battlefield developer, DICE. It's their engine and I'm glad most of EA's game will be using it.

That's fair. However, I would maintain that there is no definitive standard for what a female must look like at 40.
