Seems to me you're slightly embittered from remarks made by people in the past. Yet let me remind you that we're not those people so why are you treating us as if we were?
I'll admit I've not read the entirety of this thread, and mainly just read your comments, but you struck me as awfully abrasive and arrogant concerning certain posts, conjuring up anti-female motives when they weren't suggested or even implied.
Eh, there were some comments in this thread that did make me go "That does not paint said poster in a particularly positive light."
I won't quote any because I'm not interested in calling people out, but I'll just say that to me, some of the posts seemed to indicate that Morrigan's lack of attractiveness has also compromised her character in other ways as well (which is an unpleasant thing to read, IMO).
Anyways...

Cassandra's eyebrows seem pretty differen't, but her jawline really isn't much of a problem. She had a strong jaw before and the angle is what people are focusing on.
The eyebrows are closer to her Dawn of the Seeker and the World of Thedas concept art. Actually the trailer is quite similar to that concept art. They even put the little hearts on the spaulders despite her wearing a different armor.

As there is in all threads. They usually get ignored by the majority.
Those posts were silly, and were rightfully shunned by all.

Varric: 10/10, would romance.
Cassandra: Derpy. I will have to get used to it.

But doesn't discount David's opinion either. Especially, since you seem to agree ("as there is in all threads"), even if you may disagree with the level of prevalence.
Also, please take note the specifics of the post I was replying to, as it provides context for why I stated my post.

Getting away from character specifics: Looking at the individual features on all three of them, I'm VERY excited to play with the character creator and look at all of the available options. Also, Morrigan's hair looks fantastic; can't wait to see more hairs!

Implying nothing. I'll state it outright: there is absolutely a mysoginistic element to the commentary on female characters.
Thank you.
Sarcasm is always necessary.
My motto from now on.
They look fine as they are. I'd rather you wouldn't tweak them anymore.

If one were to go by forum posters commenting on a character's initial reveal, Morrigan in DAO was beyond hideous. I recall a number of long topics over how giant her jaw was, how misshapen her lips were, how her shoulders were too wide and her body badly animated. Also, Merrill had enormous breasts, Isabela an impossibly masculine jaw and Leliana giant fish-lips which were impossible to look past.
Possibly people just like dissecting the appearance of female characters. I'm not sure. Maybe it's just something you get used to, or will never like simply because it's different. I suppose you'll find out eventually.
Or because it's absolutely terrible, like Alistair in DA2.
On topic: I think new Morrigan looks awesome. The new face rendering will do wonders for the character imo.

You know they're going to have to change Morrigan's face Schumaker. They simply are. I think you're taking things too personally. Gaider being too defensive. We understand the fate of the DA series is at stake. You can't afford another flop or EA might can the series. DA is Gaider's baby. He's nervous about it. We understand that and feel a measure of sympathy for you guys. You feel you're doing the best you can. Well we're all rooting for you guys to succeed. Despite differences I 've had with you and Ninja Stan and differences of opinion about the want you to well So calm down, do your best and we have belief that things will ultimately be ok.
Your comment is laughable.
They don't have to change her face.

Cassandra's the only one who really throws me off. I like the design, in-of-itself, but the jaw doesn't match up with what she looked like previously.

Ultimately the video game business is a consumer generated business. A developer can feel like he's sitting in a castle, insulated from external events and rant and rage at the fans and say nobdy in the industry listens to fans. Developers who do that will ultimately get their come uppence. Their just deserts. People who don't listen to the fans will live to regret it. shrugs. Of course there are people who have posted on youtube and in other forums who don't like Morrigan's appearance either, so it's not just me. But like I said I expect things will improve before the game is released.
But its also people who do like her new appearance. And people who don't see the diffrence. And I don't see how they must change her beacuse some people can't ****** to her anymore.

In the end the important thing is that Morrigan is in the game, her look is a pretty silly thing
What really bothers me is Gaider's attitude towards us, no one was flaming and no one was whining, or at the very least just a small minority was, and he comes out with something that (IMO) was quite insulting and not asked for, like no one is allowed to have different opinions/aesthetical preferences

Well this was a comparison to DA2 Cassandra. I watched the movie, but I preferred the DA2 Cassandra look. This one doesn't seem to bad so far. Plus I kind of like the character. The graphics are nice and the characters all around look pretty good. So far I'd say DA3 is great In the visual department.
