My reaction was "Oh that Orlesian dress!" It just look awesome...and totally uncomfortable to run with.

I like her quite a bit. The only things that need work are her lips and her jaw.

So she doesn't look exactly like she did in DA:O. What I want to know if what we saw of her was in-game engine or pre-rendered CGI.

EDIT: The teaser said it was actual game footage, so I assume even her part was in-game then.

The funny thing with this is how they took the one character with an "iconic" outfit from Origins and ditched it for a rather generic looking noblewoman dress with hoop skirt. Yet you look at Varric or Cassandra and they're pretty much dressed the same as DA2.

The iconic one was getting smelly, it's in the laundry right now.

Also overall pleased with the change in general art direction back to more like DAO but retaining the awesome looking Qunari. Keen to see some elves and darkspawn.

A lot would depend on the context that we don't have. Wandering around the wilds is a bit different to blending in at an orlesian court.

Well, Morrigan hasn't just left the swamp any more.  You'd expect her clothes to change, particularly if she, say, turns out to be hanging out at the Orlesian court like in that DA:O epilogue card.

And Varric covered up the iconic chest hair

It's just CGI and a bad one at that. The DA trailer had them looking different as well. None of them looked anything like their in game characters.

When she spoke at the end of that trailer, I actually jumped... a little. It's rather ugly, to be kind about it.

For an (apparently?) Orlesian court dress, it's pretty Morrigan-like.

The colors, fancy jewelry, spray of feathers on the right shoulder, and even the low neckline all fit her.

Pass on the giant skirt, though.

I think the Orlesian court epilogue probably never happened, like a lot of the epilogues.  But I wouldn't be surprised if it represented the early fragments of a plot idea that'll turn up in DA:I [/wild speculation]
