The lack of chest hair is completely unacceptabru though, as I've expressed. >

Just my opinion though no need to go spread it around.

Certainly much better than DA:O Zevran and DA2 Zevran.

I think Varric looks extremely good in the new engine. There wasn't anything about him that made me think "He looks wrong" just "Different" which was kinda expected.

As for the eyebrows, well, they frame your expression a bit so that to me just looks like sad-Varric eyebrows. When people make sad eyes their eyebrows flatten a little. Long story short in my humble opinion he looks great, familiar, and just battle-hardened and in another engine.

Also, how many people think he loses awesome points for covering up his manly man chest? Ha!
Not even Frostbite is powerful enough to render Varric's chest hair. It's a testament to Varric's awesomeness that they were forced to cover him up.
...well, either that, or Frostbite renders it so well that merely showing teh chest would have stolen the entire trailer

Am more curious as to what he was doing. A battlefield where all the face are already covered, I want to see what there.
Didn't those bodies have nooses around their necks? I'm guessing that while there did indeed seem to be a battle, (some of) those who surrendered or were captured at the end of it were hanged by the victors. Sends a 'no prisoners' message.

The chest hair was so glorious that he was distracting the fighters on the battlefield. While at first this seemed like a tactical advantage and allowed him to shoot his would be killers while they were lost in blissful gazing, he was eventually forced to cover it up after multiple allies swooned during critical moments in the battle. That corpse he's mourning in the trailer? Looked up from the fray for a moment and BAM! Taken out by a Templar because she couldn't look away.

Gotta protect the chest hair. The ladies, and many men, would cut their hair in mourning if anything happened to those luscious locks.Sith Grey Warden wrote...
Regarding the "no chest hair" thing, this is Varric at war. He's armored up.
