So the Dalish are forming an alliance with the Tal-Vashoth? I wonder if that would be the result of the gathering of the clans.

I'm believe they will be in the game, though they will look very different (again).

Maybe the qunari have attacked the Dalish. Or maybe the Dalish have formed an alliance with the Qun.

Both banners appear to exhibit the skulls of halla but that, by itself, is not really conclusive. But now, check out what is beneath the flag next to the qunari.

uh the flag looked more like a qunari skull in a pirate flag. also I wouldn't worry I think they will change the way the elves looked because most people said they looked horrible and it was a big complaint

I think the skull looks too equine for it to be that of a qunari. And the swords really do resemble the Dar'misaan.
It migth be a coincidence, of course.

I would said alliance with the qun , they have a common ennemies: humans.
I mean why would qunari bother to kill elves ?

And there's the book the mask empire in April , so maybe the elves rised up , change their symbol ...for now it's wheat with a bow...to a more warrior looking one because they are at open war now?

The hilts of the swords have guards though.

I'm guessing it is just a warband. It could very well involve elves in general or Dalish in particular.

Not kill, convert. Which is why the idea of the Dalish forming an alliance with the Qun seems strange. They value their culture above everything and the Qunari intend to impose theirs on all of Thedas. The elves should know better than to ally with them.

I'm suddenly reminded of a line from Isabella 'If all the Elves fought all the Qunari, wo'd you think would win?', although I rather like the idea of the two factions teaming up (against Tevinter maybe?)

In game yes Hawke only kill that particular tribe,,,but who knows how many Elves tribes Hawke kill afterward? Killing Elves is not something new to Hawke...the werewolf case, Dalish-Templar Fenyriel case, Sar Qamek case, Qunari Elf supporters at Act 2..Fenris and Orsino....Hawke kill them all....

The hella skull could be for the dalish while the swords for the city elves. That kossith is part of a band of tal-vassoth Maraas has convinced rejecting the qun doesn't mean becoming mindless savages.

I can't see a dalish-qunari alliance it's too much of a culture clash.
